And that’s why I have so many clothes 😂 haha but in all seriousness, they are really comfortable and my favorite pair of jeans! They’re from Ann Taylor, I just bought them recently but can’t seem to find them online!

I could not imagine the stress of that closet!! I have a tiny closet (about 2 feet of space) and no dresser. I have been a capsule wardrobe wearer since 2005 and am very clear on my style preferences. My wardrobe contains 40 items: 19 professional 11 casual 6 workout 4 loungewear

I love that!! I think I can definitely still minimize even more but this is a good start! I think being clean on style preferences is the key 🔑 I need to work on that!

Just take a few minutes a day to do some Decluttering! That always helps me when I feel super overwhelmed (like when I decluttered my sons room!) I’m glad you found this useful! Let me know how it goes!

I start by picking out my absolute yes items first. Because once I see the pile of keep items I already have, it's easier to say no to maybe items.

That's me today, 3 hours so far I keep taking 10 min breaks....😢

You got this! Breaks are always good! My sons room I had to do it in 30 minute increments because I was so overwhelmed!

Just wanted to add a quick question to make decluttering a little easier, especially for multiple items of the same type e.g jeans. The question is “what’s my favourite ?”. If I have 5 pairs of jeans, I know which pair is comfortable and flattering or which ones ride up or sag etc. By focusing on my favourites it makes decision making faster and easier and less about “giving an item up” and more about about enjoying my clothing. This question works well for other items too e.g. what’s my favourite jewellery etc. Hope this helps.
