ultimate BUDAPEST public transport guide
Ойын-сауық
This is a guide for the pest side for the public transportation on the pest side of the city. You should watch this before you travel to Budapest if you want to find out about all the different forms of transportation. In this video we take all four underground metro lines in Budapest, the Budapest tram, the Budapest bus, and the Budapest old school trolley car. We also take a little wander through some of the main tourist spots on the pest side of the city such as Blaha Lujza tér, Parliament square, Heroes square, and the famous number 2 tram along the Danube. This is the best guide every made for Budapest public transport on the pest side because it has everything: history, modern day culture, food, music, movies, statues and more. We talk to interesting locals, sample local food, drink local at local pubs and find some local markets. Budapest public transportation is quite easy to navigate as long as you know what you are doing. Next time we will head over to the Buda side of the city for another guide to the Budapest Public transportation network.

Advice: next time buy a Day Pass ticket! It is valid for every public transport line within Budapest. It costs 2500 HUF.
@Pawe-hg8jc

That's expensive. Here in Warsaw 24 h ticket costs 15 złoty, some 1200 forints.

@@Pawe-hg8jc Is it valid for ships too? Because in Budapest, it is valid for those as well.
Does busses run 24 hours? Especially going to airport.
Tickets need not to be validated after purchase?
I'd never dare to go a pub in the VIIIth district. :D
Hey, if possible, can you please tell me what are the timings for the trams as I will be arriving at Budapest at around 11 o’clock and from there as I got to know from the Internet that bus 100E works 24 hours a day so once I have reached the city center is it possible to catch the tram to reach to my destination?
@withwillie

Yeah they run all the time just go to the bus stand outside the airport - it will take you to kalvin ter and deak square and then you can take it from there

There are many Vietnamese restaurants/people in Hungary because it was a "'safe" place for Vietnamese exchange students during Hungary's communist era because of the shared commie ideology at the time.
