Thanks for the video! Just booked our stay there for end of the month. They were so nice and helpful when I called in and handled our dinner reservations at Splashes and Las Brisas. So we are all set 😊

Laguna’s Original Pageant of the Masters is from July to September. Would be a great event to check out. I’d love to go one day. Oh and the Sawdust Art and Craft Festival is June to August

If you guys are looking for a great place to eat i highly recommend STARFISH in Laguna Beach. It is fantastic! The food is amazing and they have a full bar with wonderful cocktails and the vibe is really great there as well.

My Mom and Dad love Laguna Beach. It's so sad 😞 though because my Dad passed away last year 😢 so she's probably not going back for a long time. I love it out there great video Spencer and Katie

I’ve stayed at the Surf and Sand for a work event and we ate at the same restaurant for dinner. The hotel is quite expensive folks however, it’s a nice place to stay and visit.

Well, I can see they did a half assed job at redecorating the interior! The property needs a remodel and I won’t return until they remodel properly, they still have the old beds, the old bathrooms, and it looks like they just recovered the old furniture….. and let me guess it’s still doesn’t have any air conditioning 😂It’s a pass for me.

Nice! We stayed here back when our kids were 2 and 4 years old (they are 14 and 16 now) with the same ocean front room, balcony over the sand. Looking at your video, everything looks the same - just wonderful! This video makes me want to spend my birthday weekend here. Hmmm, now I’m gonna check availability….

You guys gotta try Lost Pier - right on the beach at Aliso Beach. Churros, beignets, clam chowder, and more!

STAYED THERE EVERY YEAR FROM 1978 TO 2000. WE'VE SEEN EVERY MAKEOVER AND REDO. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST. WE STAYED AT A COUPLE OF OTHER HOTELS FARTHER SOUTH, BUT ALWAYS CAME BACK TO THE "SURF AND SAND". THE FACT THAT THE HOTEL IS RIGHT ON THE BEACH BEATS ANY OF THE NEWER HOTELS HANDS DOWN. WE ALWAYS STAYED IN "THE TOWER" ON THE 5TH FLOOR CORNER ROOM OVERLOOKING THE POOL. ONCE THE "ORIGINAL" RESTAURANT WAS THE WHOLE TOP FLOOR OF THE MAIN TOWER. QUITE A SCENIC VIEW WHILE DINING. MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES SPENT THERE. HOLIDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, BIRTHDAYS AND JUST ROMANTIC GET AWAYS. NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE NEXT GENERATION !

Spencer, you did a great job showcasing this resort! You should consider starting a side business making promotional videos for companies. I am sure there are companies that cannot afford the big bucks charged by large corporations for this. However, they would still be willing to pay for your work.

Really loved the Dale McKenzie-inspired hotel tour, but glad you brought your own unique vlogging style back in for the second half of the video. Trying to film in quiet places and talk about what you're seeing without feeling intrusive is insanely difficult, I think Dale and Paula really have a good system to navigate around that! We may need to try that for our own future resort tour videos. Look forward to seeing the next one guys!

We love Surf & Sand & Laguna beach. We stayed in the room that had earplugs and we couldn’t figure out why. We slept with the slider door open and realized that the waves were crashing under our room. Hence the air plugs! It was so cool. Love it & love you guys!
