In my opinion… they should have made it where you can upgrade a regular Ao Ming into an Ultimate version. Just like upgrading a robot into MK3, you can start the process but will only get the 4 Alpha weapons once you reach level 200. That aside though, I still think I prefer the Eiffel over this because of the Eiffel's dash ability.

Completely agree…same goes for every ultimate version, imo.

note that each ult gendarme costs about the same as a t4 titan to max and ult ming needs upgrade tokens after reaching lvl100

Definitely not worth it in my opinion. There were many cases where I was shot down by Newton Tonans before I even managed to do any real damage to them. Granted those weapons and Newton will be nerfed I still don't think it's worth it - pretty sure the Eiffel with the bendy bullets could shred this up.

@@AbeerFr An absolute ungodly amount. Even with a 25% discount.........that does not apply to ult ao ming titan upgrades. The weapons for level 1 gendarme is 260 platinum for level 3 its 340 platinum and will continue to scale up im sure. 25 levels is probably gonna cost close to 10k im guessing. The robot upgrades itself starts at 54 platinum, and im sure scales up as well x 200 levels. This titan is so weak defensively.........that at level 1...........any robot build in champions league can kill me in under 5 seconds. A MK2 crisis reaper kills me in one clip.

Wouldn't happen until Ocho is 3 or 5 years old. All the ultimates have been robots that are rarely seen in the meta or are old, tell me, when's the last time you saw someone use fujin, invader or ao ming in the current meta? Even fenrir is slowly being put out due to new tanks, mender as well

A few things that you didn’t mention about the Ultimate Ao Ming and the Ultimate Grendarme is that the Ultimate Ao Ming has the cooldown time of its self repair ability reduced and while using its self repair the Ultimate Ao Ming gets increased movement speed and for the Ultimate Grendarme you simply didn’t mention that it has considerably more ammunition than the normal Grendarme allowing the Ultimate Grendarme to fire for longer and be more effective when firing with low ammo

I prefer the Dagon with the splinter weapon. Alternatively I’ve seen players use the stakex2 and splinterx4 weapons probably for a continuous shield during brawling

Yeah it doesn't really feel THAT powerful. If we're comparing costs etc I honestly actually just run the Eiffel with bendy bullets.

Pretty sure it's way more expensive - there are screenshots floating around of the cost. I couldn't determine this as my Ultimate Ao Ming was given to this BR Account at level 150 if I remember correctly.

It’s definitely very powerful.

Sure, it's strong, and will probably be better once the Newtons are nerfed, but for 80k platinum plus the real money spent on winning the weapons, I don't think it's worth it.

I said this before but i love the ultimates concept, giving old robots a revamp to give them a breath of air in the new meta, and locking them behind a (kind of) paywall is the only time i support it, due to it extreamly luck based and super expensive to even get

I don't know, I think I'm still gonna hold out on this one. Wait for the Ultimate Cossack. Because you know Pixonic is going to load that one to the gills with weaponry and such. What? You say it only has one weapon slot? Yeah, so? Pixonic will simply create a weapon that releases 8 Titans out of a single regular bot's weapon slot. Hang on - phone call... "Oh! Hi, Pixonic! What? I've been hired? Awesome! I've got lots more great ideas where that came from! Like how about this one: You could have a weapon that when you kill the opposing player, it actually completely destroys that robot from the player's roster Like, BOOM! They lost that bot forever! So that way there'd be a lot of people probably willing to pay to replace the bots that they've lost!"

Pix almost certainly gets more net income from selling the resources required to upgrade something than the actual items themselves. It takes tens to possibly even hundreds of millions of silver to get a mk 2 level 12 tier four robot. So unless the person wants to spend multiple literal entire weeks doing absolutely nothing but eating, sleeping, and grinding battles, they are pretty much forced to purchase the resources if they want to reach that level. Titans cost platinum by nature, so for obvious reasons, it will be costly in that regard too.

I have. Just that players have selective memory. You must have forgotten when I decided to put out Fortnite content on my channel for about a week as that was my stand and all of the others kept putting out War Robots content. You must have forgotten when I requested Pixonic not feature my channel in the in-game news when all others were featured. You must have forgotten when I told Pixonic I wasn't going to hold any more giveaways until I saw changes on their end when all others continued with their giveaways. How come players weren't with me when I did the above things? I would gladly cover Fortnite instead but guess what? Players won't really support me like you think because they prefer I just put out War Robots content.

I've seen screenshots of some players who were calculating it. That's why I said in my pinned comment I don't really think it's worth it for that price because I could get similar (or better) results using Eiffel and Bendy Bullets.
