Kelsey forgot to mention that you could bring a dozen axes to your friends town and chop down all their trees... hahahaa... I miss this game. (Story behind what I said - One of your friends in college was obsessed with his town so we logged in to his town while he was in class and chopped down all the trees. We left a note on his board from "The Lumberjacks". This was before there was a comprehensive FAQ for everything and he kept wondering if this was possible.)

My wife and I enjoyed playing Animal Crossing on Wii while physically speaking to people across the country with with the Wii Mic. Fun times! Curious to see what Animal Crossing will do in their next games.

bulbinking he is right tho. it was the worst. it was so limited. especially in multiplayer. every animal had to be in their house. only two people could be in a building at a time. it crashed a lot. it was slow. it was just bad. saying it was the best is biased and probably caused by nostalgia.

One of my favourite things about your change is the revolving door of guests. You are such a stand up guy that I could watch just you, but I really started becoming a fan once I saw you hanging with Kelsey, Reggie and others. Lots of great content and personalities! If I ever visit Seattle, I'm checking out Kelsey's store!

I been thinking of getting my daughter some animal crossing games for her birthday. This helped so much! Thanks Kelsey and MJR.

I always find Kelsey to be so down to earth and easy going. Great video. Love the series, got a Wii U recently. Sucks that it doesn't have a legit AC game =( .

Animal Forest + came before Animal Crossing. Nintendo were so impressed with Animal Crossing, they ported it again as Animal Forest e+, and that’s the version with eReader support.

Look at those beautiful eyes. And a smile to fall in Love with. Long nice hair like a sweet princess. I also really love your voice and your T-Shirt is so damn cool. You know alot about games which is quite sexy.

I got Amiibo Festival for $10 from gamestop a few weeks back. It's a trash game, but for 2 amiibos and a physical game at only $10, I can't really complain.

so much love for this series ever since my brother was sent a copy of wild world back in 2004 for review, played every instalment since.

I'm a huge Nintendo collector (from the UK), and the only Animal Crossing game I'm missing (I collect PAL only) is the Gamecube original, because I haven't found a copy with the memory card yet. Got all the amiibo figures - now just to properly get into the very expensive cards!

I have been playing Animal Crossing almost every day since I first started playing it on the Gamecube and it has become one of my favorite video game series.

I love it! I really enjoy spending one video on a complete series. I learned a lot.

I remember when animal crossing first came out, a friend traded it to me for another game and i didn't know what it was . i was hooked ever since.

I must say this as I cannot stress this enough! Kelsey DOES NOT HAVE A PROBLEM! She is so passionate about what she is talking about. I absolutely love her. Seriously, I am in no way shape or form interested in the Animal Crossing games. I dislike their style because I do not like Life Sims, but that doesn't matter because I was 110% completely drawn to this video and enjoyed watching everything that this girl had to say. She was so passionate about the franchise and I will tell you now that when she tried to explain about why she owns both english and japanese versions of games I agreed with her. I am the same with the games I absolutely adore. I like to try out all console various versions aswell as regional differences because I am a geek too, and proud of it. :) Love your informative videos. I want to see more of this girls passionate gaming topics.

I used to play City Folk all the time with my ex. It was so addicting. Her entire family played and whenever her and I would play together they'd see my town and liked it better so I ended up having to give all of them access to it. It also helped that their town had different fruit. I planted theirs in my town and made a fortune and was able to completely upgrade my home in no time at all. Fun times. I really want to play the newest one, but just don't have the time.

Wasn't a big fan of Animal Crossing, and recently I bought New Leaf just for my collection after watching this. I should have bought it a long time ago. It is a spectacular game!

Thank you for inspiring to restart Animal Crossing. I haven't played this game in years. I actually just ordered Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival bundle since it was very inexpensive to get now.

Animal crossing gives me so much nostalgia and just a warm feeling even though i'm still a kid it reminds me of when I was a kid and always played smash brawl when I woke up to see K.K Slider in the Animal Crossing stage and just listen to the songs. I now am a huge fan of the series.

She's coming back.....YAY! Can't wait for the next vid, Metal. Never bought an Animal Crossing game but the Gamecube one seems cool to me. It's on my wishlist.

This was cool to watch, especially since I watched a Let's Play of New Leaf when the Amiibo Update was already out, and it's interesting to see how much of Happy Home Designer must've actually been carried over, apparently. Kelsey's theory about HHD was cool too and makes a lot of sense. When she started the sentence I thought maybe she was gonna theorize about HHD features coming in the Amiibo update, but the fact that she didn't gave me the thought that these features might've come as a surprise for a bunch of people. I mean, "Amiboo Update" doesn't sound as big as the update ended up being, now that I think about it.

The sigh immediately after saying "Amiibo Festival" is just the best.

The Welcome Amiibo updates brings Happy Home Designer into New Leaf. It's just awesome to make things how you like it.

I remember being in 9th grade when City Folk came out with the Wii Speak. I'd played online games on Xbox 360 before, so voice chat wasn't new to me, but my cousin and I played online on City Folk and I just thought it was so cool how I could talk to my cousins, aunt, and uncle all at the same time over the Wii Speak.

Is there a video of her of yourself talking about those hard plastic sleeve/containers she has some of her games and console boxes in and how they fit so well for them? That interests me a lot for my small collectibles.

I have this jumbo sized K.K. slider plush, felt bad buying it because the second i did everyone in the store was like NOOO!!!! because it was the last one. and so many people walking up to me asking where I got it and I was like from that store over there... but i'm sorry it's the last one *sweats nervously* I take really good care of it and it just chills on a chair in my room haha.

I played a buttload of GC Animal Crossing and Wild World. I never played City Folk and I have New Leaf but I got tired of it. Great collection Kelsey, also I don' think you have a problem :)

If you unlock the Catan style island survival minigame, Amiibo Festival isn't a total waste of time. It's called Desert Island Escape. You should check it out if you love Animal Crossing and it's cheap, just for that minigame. Especially if you have the amiibo cards because you can use all of them and different animals have different skills to help you get off the island.

I love Animal Crossing! I have played all of the games, outside Japan. I'll say my least favorite was City Folk, but because I felt they took to many steps backwards in that game and I hated the grass wear! New Leaf is my current favorite, but we'll see when the next one would be like! I have a bunch of the eReader cards also, just not the entire collection though...I also have the amiibo.

Animal Crossing is one of the few Nintendo series that I've somehow never played, even though throughout the years I've always wanted to try them out. Though I guess with New Leaf being 20 bucks new I should give it a shot soon enough.

Man, I started Animal Crossing in the past thinking that it was boring but damn, this really take my time!

I jumped in on the series with New Leaf about 2 years ago and honestly can say it's one of all time fave games. It's definitely not for everyone tho, I've had friends who tried it and just gave up after a day.

I love the Animal Crossing series too -- New Leaf is the game I spent the most time in on my 3DS. Love the charadesign of most characters; just wish it were possible to use one of them as an avatar instead of the Villager. I'm surprised that Kelsey doesn't have any AC calendar (or at least mention it) -- I have the current year one in my office and it looks nice. :)

Don't have that much merch of Animal Crossing myself, just some of the amiibo cards, two amiibo and a Tortimer figurine that I got gifted from Nintendo's convention booths but I got the anime movie from Japan which I really like and find it's a shame there is only just a fan translation online but no actual dubbed version that came over. It actually came with a Nintendo DS pouch.
