@SaulMendozaMkt

@@christianboehlefeld5168 Yeah, but they tend to star the same person or people that they work with for several segments. I think that's because they shoot everything in one day (like when they had TNTL with Funhaus and did the Mario Pepper video too). Why are they using Garret and the writers? Probably money issues, although I liked this one despite Garret being an 80's kid instead of a 90's. Almost had a heart attack when he didn't said Nevermind from Nirvana right away while wearing a Pearl Jam tee.
@paulk5670
Жыл бұрын
@@SaulMendozaMkt I think he almost psyched himself put on that question because he knew enough to have other grunge albums floating in his head, but not enough to instantly place it by timeframe and sales. Someone with slightly less knowledge probably gets that instantly because it's the only album they think of, and obviously a diehard would know it having memorized the dates.
The Rent question was EXTREMELY difficult. I've seen the show a number of times and the movie at least a hundred times. The problem is in the musical version literally everything is sung. So Mark's mom's voice-mails are counted as songs when they're like 10 seconds long, etc, and other things like that. Anyways not really a fair question, in my opinion.
@erinbirdyy
Жыл бұрын
Yeah fr, I have been a diehard musical theater fan most of my life, I was fixated on Rent at a formidable age in my life and obsessed over it. I guessed 26, knowing I didn’t have any clue and that number was just a wild guess.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more on edge when it came to Garrett’s character development. So glad he’s getting more screen time.
Titanic movie fun fact: Celine Dion’s hit song wasn’t originally planned. James Cameron only wanted songs without words for the soundtrack. Things changed when composer James Horner hooked up with lyricist Will Jennings and singer Celine Dion to secretly create a demo for "My Heart Will Go On," which Cameron loved. It made it into the credits, and the rest is history

Comedy Central had it in rotation hard in the early days of the channel. Which is hilarious when you realize they were just trying to cash in on the popularity of the Drew Carey one. I was born the same year as Ronit but I’m in the same boat as Garrett, I did Model United Nations in high school as well. It’s a lot of fun and if it’s a club at your high school, I highly recommend it. You get to visit other schools and make new friends. Best nation to represent by far is North Korea (I’ve represented it twice) because you’re the only nation who gets away with spewing insults. And growing up, I watched a lot of 90s cartoons and game shows (whatever Nicktoons Network, Toon Disney/Jetix, Boomerang, and Nick GaS showed) and love 90s music. So when Garrett said I Want It That Way was NSYNC...my soul left my body

Okay but like I want to make it clear that not all of us Gen Z don’t know these things. It just depends on what parents show us most of the time. I’m 2 years younger than him (my sis is the same age as him) and my mom is 9 years older than Garrett. I’m not gonna lie and say I knew all this but some of this is obvious if you grew up rewatching some of this stuff. So yeah don’t feel too old guys!!
