@@liljfunk21 It feels so much premium 😍, you will love it's ergonomic design. It's full of features, it takes days to know all. With normal usage it lasts for a day but not with heavy use, but it has fast charge so not a problem, you should go for it😉

huawei is king when it comes to battery life, so thats why im still apprehensive about moving to samsung

Great video. Just the test I was looking for!!! WOW I get up to 9 to 10 hours with my s10+ and was hoping the note line would be better even with the bigger screen. Does not disappoint!!!

the standby was good because there was no sim installed. major battery drain of samsung phones during standby is the cell network ;) great video tho!

I never let my phone drain and always charge it from 50-90%. Based on normal/productive usage I charge it 1-2 times a day.

Bought the regular Note 10 in Aura pink. So the battery isn't big issue for me. Less time on phone, more time for friends and family.

FIRST... Good battery test online video of the smaller Note10. On the go you maybe have to deduct an hour or 2, because of the reasons mentioned here below (switching antennas for one) but overall still good. I ordered this phone and it will be here tomorrow normally. Thx for this test man! If it keeps battery power in standby it is a winner... I will try to reply after a week's testing of the exynos version here to confirm if it is doing as good as this test says...

@@kimrosa7930 i received the phone yesterday, today is my first day of actual use. I will not be performing a stress test to the battery like Juan, but more or less a daily usage test. For today i charged it for the first time to 100%, i got up at 5:45 am and as we speak it is 19:55 pm and my battery level is currently 54%. I left on the auto brightness all day, and since it was a clear day it was almost always at max levels when i took it out... In general it was lightly used today since it was alot on standby because of work. When i used it i played 1 mobile game, browsed a bit, WhatsApp a lot and watched 2 videos on youtube. I didnt pull out the s-pen but once, to do a small test with it... So yeah cant tell that much from todays usage, because normally i browse and game more on the way from and to work in the subway. Since my case is yet to arrive, only monday it will be in the mail, i didnt pull it out that much since its quite unprotected... (i keep it in a sunglass cloth pouch to prevent it from scratching) Im at 14h20 standby and 1h50 of screen on time... Does it mean i can already come to a conclusion after just one day? I dont think i can just yet, but this was my first (almost) full day of using this Phone. The screen is just amazing for me, quad HD or not, it just looks stunning, vibrant colors and very fine lines in the graphics also... If i can compare it, its a bit like coming from my full HD tv, to my first oled 4k tv. To give an example, i play a lot of FIFA, when playing the content on my FHD tv it looked more detailed when playing FIFA 19 for the first time on my 4k TV... The pictures of the players are much more detailed when i made the switch from one tv to another... My previous phone was a pixel 2 (small) and the difference in resolution is 2220*1080 for the note 10, and 1920*1080 for the pixel 2, so not that much apart from each other... The note 10 actually has less ppi than the pixel 2, and this new screen looks much more detailed than my pixel 2, strangely but its true... I will post my experience of this weekend probably on sunday evening here... I do believe its not as powerfull as the Note 10 + phone, (totally other phone in terms of resolution and also battery) but at the moment it seems to do its job quite OK...

This is a copy of a reply further in the comments for when i was using the Phone at home past weekend: Some battery specs of past saturday... I got up around 9 ish AM or so, and went to bed 00:45 AM.... Stayed at home so constantly on same wifi network with following stats: exactly 5 hours of screen on time, standby time 16:45 hours, played boom beach heavily for 2hrs32 mins, ( plugged it back in when i was going to bed and there was 26% battery left...) In between the day i was browsing, WhatsApp, and checking sports scores. This is definitely not bad in my book... I had auto brightness back on on my exynos Version smaller Note 10... Not been dissapointed so far... :) (74% had been depleted that day, so there was room for more usage...)

4:49 It's not really a mystery like you make it seem. The reason a phone drops battery quick in your pocket sometimes is due to poor signal and it always switiching towers. Same thing goes for when it loses a lot of battery overnight if your house has poor service. Put it in airplane mode or make sure it had a strong wifi signal and that won't happen.

I thought it's just my phone. I don't know how and since when but I guess the latest software updates drain the battery a lot. Even just by browsing e-commerces the battery drains so quickly. Playing PUBG won't last long too without charging.

The note 10 is fucking gorgeous but don't get fooled the battery doesn't last at all, ive had it for 2 weeks(exynos version) and the battery doesn't even last for 1/3 of my Huawei mate 10 LITE battery ! Outrageous I'm sending it back and buying the Huawei P30 pro

Went from the 11 pro max to the note 10 + and i feel the same, what is wrong ?

On a stable wifi you get optimum stamina. If you are on LTE roaming from mask to mask this SOT plummets very quickly. Add that when you are outdoors your brightness increases and this is the main culprit for battery loss, that SOT will fall further. Add in that standby will be 1-2% an hour, so say you are on your pone 6h in a day the other 18h will lose 18-36% depending on whether you are on LTE, have BT on, etc. That is why the average user will never get anywhere near 2 days let alone three! I suspect for most the Note will need charging once a day, but looks good for that.

So I see that this test is very similar, but is it really that comparable to S10 test? I need to compare S10e and Note10. I'm in need of a compact, waterproof, not too expensive phone with good camera. S10e seems perfect, but Note10 is not much bigger and pricier, while offering stylus, telephoto camera and bigger battery.

Pues te digo que yo tengo un note 10+ con exynos, y desde el momento en que cargo la batería, el tiempo que me dura la carga es de aproximadamente 1 día + 3 horas (es decir: 27 horas - acá incluyo las horas de sueño en que no lo uso que por lo regular son 7 hrs), además, tengo activada la opción de bixby que disminuye el consumo de batería entre 12 de la noche, y 6 de la mañana. Lo curioso es, que cuando miro cuanto me ha consumido de batería el celular por partes, me aparece que de pantalla los tiempos son entre 5 horas y media y muy pocas veces seis horas. Mejor dicho, me toca cargarlo cada día y medio en promedio. Saludos.

Note 10 charges slower than Note 10+. Official numbers are 88 mins for Note 10 and 65 mins for Note 10+. That's with the same 25w charger.

I have Note 10+ since end of August and from my experience I found out that if you turn off some features (location, Bluetooth, WiFi/M.Data, AOD, Edge touch, Dolby Atmos, power saving-on, ...) when you don't need them then they will extend the battery life up to 50% extra. I start my day @ 8 am with battery 100% until 8 pm it use 60% with average of 5% per each hour with most of my features are on. Then at night before sleeping my bed time routine start work turning off all features that's I don't need them while I'm sleeping including Sync & net connection. In this way, my battery consumption dropped from 5% into 1% per each hour. In this way, my Note 10+ can last the 24h easily and I charge it in the morning one hour before my day start again 😊

I have been fiddling around with some settings, such as Energy setting, you can change this feature when u open battery from the settings menu en right below the circle there is this option where you can choose between 4 levels of battery usage... Mine has been on both the highest setting (high performance) and on optimalised, and they both work fine for me... Obviously i get a little more on optimalised, this setting trims down the brightness with roughly 15% i think, but if ur not demanding the most performance wise, why not leave it on that setting most of the time... I also leave the always on display off, only one app can wake it, but that s a third party app i have for the led notification around the camera... Im a bigger than normal user, but not a real power user in the real meaning of the word... Try changing some settings and see what works for you

@@jcaguilar1145 it depends on your usage. I was getting an average of 5hrs of screen on time Because i played games that absolutely drained it in no time lol. But if i only used it for movies, youtube and social medias. I could easily get 7 to 9 hrs which is good.

I do a lot of KZread and filming the battery lasted me 13hrs on a full battery not bad being online for work and entertaining

Exactly, just posted a comment about this. He doesn't have a sim card inserted. You're never gonna get 10+ hours of SOT on a cellular network.

Matthew Family No worries mate, to go further into your question. Location services drain battery because they are constantly updating the internet your location and your GPS is on. However, the location services do go onto a ‘standby’ mode when not being utilised for example you’re not on Snapchat and your phone is just idle so the battery drain isn’t too bad. But it is there and it is updating your location to match your apps and settings so therefore having it on does drain your battery but not by much. It maybe makes your total battery charge worse by 3-7%? Hope this helped!

I think my battery is junk, I bought my note 10 like 3 weeks ago, I charge it to 100% and with in minutes of being on standby the battery is already draining. If I let it alone for 1 hour untouched it would be like 90%. Is this normal?

@@krakewraith7712 im not a 100 percent sure, but i think i also had a noticable drop of say 8%,in like 10 mins or so, not sure, but i think it dropped. It wasnt when detaching power, but more so during the day... But i have to add that i had, in 2 occasions, a notification that the battery was using a lot of power due to samsung cloud updates... I didnt start these updates willingly, but only got the message when the process was already engaged... I transferred old data from pixel phone to new note 10, but come on, this thing shouldve been over already after one or 2 days... Maybe Samsung is sending massive data back to their HQ somewhere in the background because when i go look at the cloud updates everything is done already... Go figure (sometimes) :P Ps, both occasions i was only on wifi
