'Ulta Baan' by Mooralala Marwada
Музыка
An arrow flies upward into the sky! Strange wonders unfold. A tree grows without leaves, flowers or fruit. An instrument plays without cease. A pool of sweet water appears in the middle of the ocean. Kabir is perhaps describing his spiritual journey through a range of metaphors in this song, as he tries to give form to a formless experience. Mooralala’s rocking rendition brings a special quality of joy to the whole experience!

In June 2010, the Kabir Project team pitched camp in the desert heat of Kutch, Gujarat for an intense 5 days of day and night recordings with Mooralala and other folk and Sufi singers of Kutch, Gujarat.
Mooralala belongs to a lineage of Meghwal singers who migrated from Rajasthan to Kutch about 300 to 400 years ago. Now settled in the village of Khadeer in Kutch, Mooralala says he’s an 11th generation singer, and that his ‘santaar’ (tambura) must be at least 130 years old! When he first heard the sound of the tambura, he recalls that he was 8 years old, and he was so enchanted, he couldn’t sleep. Currently his 12-year-old daughter Nandini learns from and sings with him. He moves with ease between nirguni bhajans, traditional folk songs and Sufiana kalaam. Contact Mooralala at +91-87585-51661

Mooralala Marwada is at his best as always. Proud to be from his native region.Wonderful.....
Music brings Hinduism & Islam together. Drummer gentlemen in red shirt has shikha (long hair on the back) means he is Hindu but wearing KGN neckless (Islam). I am bit Muslim, a bit Jain, a bit Sikh & a bit Hindu & 100% Indian.
I pity those 26 who disliked a deep soul routed song of Kabir.
Mooralal brought kabir to us..Thank you..

Im from kutch ( gujarat ) Kutch have many different arts. i ill never like that Muralala is last person of original Aradhivani. but we are not careful about our original music and singing style. we lost originality of Kutch. we thanks outsider of for kutch. they giving identity on world stage.
