I recommend their mineralize products, I love the mineralize blushes! Love the lipsticks, in particular the powder kiss line if you’re looking for a matte that isn’t drying, or the cremesheen formula for a more hydrating and creamy lipstick ❤

work horse brands that are always good products: lancome, clinique, estee lauder. they do what they say they do. no hype necessary.

The latest LORAC palettes!!! So underrated! So they made the pans interchangeable - I got Noir and Meraki and combined the shadows I wanted from both into the Meraki palette, and it had become my most-used palette (and I own Biba and PMG Divine Rose 1 and some other heavy-hitters) because of the small, slim size with relatively many colours, and the colours are ones I truly reach for, and the formula is easy and long wearing. Didn’t expect to love it so, but hey.

Morgan, You must try the Mented brand. The pallettes are beautiful as well as the lipgloss line. Skin care is my favorite part of the beauty though.

Benefit really needs to update their packaging for a $31 blush

Stila highlighters are sooo underrated. The best wet look without glitter.

The Lorac Meraki palette is so good! The shimmers melt into your skin. It's so satisfying 😌

FYI the grande lash brow and lash serum have the exact same ingredients. I have the brow one and it works just fine on my lashes. The only difference is the size of the applicator.

The Zitsticka Killa patches are great for the deep, hormonal cystic acne. Does it make them go away immediately? Not for me. But it definitely shortens the amount of time they are painful. They also don’t leave dry spots that no makeup wants to stick to. 😂 I’ve had Persona blushes and Nabla palettes on my wishlist for months now. I think it’s time!!

It's funny you say clinique is a teenage brand. I'm 35 and I consider it a more mature woman's brand. Maybe someone 20 years older than me +.

I’m 37 and I remember Clinique and Estée Lauder being my mom and grandmother’s jam when I was a kid. They used to get the cosmetic bags and the free gifts with purchase at the Rich’s/Macy counter and would give them to me. I’m sure my grandmother is the root of my makeup obsession 🤣.

The Lancome primer is AMAZING! Love it for my dry skin and super blurring.

I love the Kinship eye cream. It wears well under makeup and is very moisturizing. $17.50 is a really good deal and makes it pretty much drug store pricing.

When it comes to the skin products. Zitsticka acne stickers are the BEST. They are always in this sale and i buy a pack everytime. Me and acne go way back. I have oily skin that has been prone to acne my whole life, it feels. Now I’m lucky to only get a pimple here and there. When i do, i put one of these on the blemish at night and it sucks all the gunk out soo much faster then you might think. Its very satisfying and a relief when i wake up in the morning, take them off, and see the pimple almost completely gone. If anyone reads this and needs zit stickers, i highly recommend these!

The iconic cream contour palette is super creamy! I like it. I don’t use it nearly enough.

Mel loved Tarte's Face Tape back in the day. I'd say it's on the lower end of full coverage. I tried it on her recommendation and liked it.

I had a mini fridge which I used for skincare but stopped using it after a week, because I actually live in the UK where it's cold, and the last thing I want is cold stuff on my face lol. Although there is nothing like a cool sheet mask, so I put them in the fridge an hour before use, feels so good!

I’m jumping on the Kinship eye cream, I use every morning in conjunction with the Kiehls avocado eye cream because I have such dry under eyes and they work awesome together. Dr Brandt primer is long time favorite and will repurchase even at full price. Estée Lauder too

The Clinique foaming cleanser is my absolute HG for my dry skin. It's so gentle and works really well and never leaves me feeling stripped or dry. I will definitely be buying 3 or 4 to stock up

Their cleansers are really underrated! I love all the ones I have tried! Hey even currently I have their lotion cleanser for my 1st step and it works great!!

strivectin eye cream is one of my favorites. lancome and biossance rival the eye creams. again clinique is a wonderful reliable brand like lancome is. try the lancome mascara it's one of my all-time favorites. i love the shape of the wand. it's easy to work with. elemis is a very good brand as well for skin care for all ages. i'm in my 50's so i've tried everything in all price ranges. my skin is painfully dry. since using the above products my skin looks so healthy, smooth. and i get tons of compliments on my skin. tons!

I really liked the face tape foundation. It's thick and full coverage but when I bought it that's what I wanted.

The Jane Iredale compact powder foundation is incredible. I'm always surprised no makeup reviewers talk about it, but I understand since its marketing is not really directed at MUAs. My medical esti years ago turned me onto it. It's great alone or as a finishing powder for extra coverage.

I see Clinique as an older ppl brand bc my mom and nana used it.

Morgan, I’m a huge fan of the Peter Thomas Roth peeling gel. It’s gross to use but it gets rid of dead skin cells like crazy, leaves skin baby bottom soft and it doesn’t irritate my skin. I love it, on tube 2 already and always buy it when on sale - PTR products are not cheap! Hope this helps. I love your channel and you. You’re too funny!

I don’t think you can go wrong with either brand. They’re both so good. The one sad thing about the Lorac palettes is that the pan sizes are so small that I hit pan on my favorite shades way quicker than the rest, but I can overlook it because it blends so so easily that it’s still worth it

My favorite nude palette is a Lorac palette! I think it's been discontinued but if I could only keep one palette it would be that one. Great shades and formula, looks so luxe and put together and easy to create looks

As usual, I only buy skincare from ulta. Gonna grab the peach and lily and the beekman 1802. That's it this year. Last year was better for me. You and I have wildly different taste

I wanted a beachwaver, might shoot for Beekman but not very interested overall.

Not a huge fan of the shape tape foundation…. It’s decent. Was using it for a while then had to search for a new foundation because it did not flatter my slightly textured skin or sit well

So Fixed Plus isn't all it's cracked up to be? I've been tempted to get it because people kept raving about how it melds the makeup with their skin and makes everything look so seemless. I wish there was a sample or something that I could try. That being said, I'm thinking of getting one or two of the Persona blushes (Bubble Gum Pink and Georgia Peach), Tart Maracuja lipgloss (Primrose), and maybe the Too Faced Lip Injection and 10 dollar Beauty Blender. I'm curious about the Double Wear, but I'm scared it will be too thick for the humid summers here. Also considering trying the illuminating version of that Smashbox Primer since I loved the original.

I really enjoyed the Mac Fix it +, I thought it helped make my makeup “skin like” when my makeup got cakey looking. By helping make everything melt into my skin. With that being said I wouldn’t pay full price for it, I can’t justify a finishing spray for that high of a price. Since I personally don’t think it helps with longevity of makeup.

Double Wear isn't thick anymore since they've changed the formula every few years. It has enough pigment to be applied thinly and still get enough coverage. I live in the south and that's how I've always used it. It is fantastic in the high heat and humid summers. The Fix+ is a glycerin spray and is too much for me personally. Even applied lightly. It does meld everything together nicely but if you have oily skin or it's humid, it may be too sticky. It doesn't help makeup last longer, so for that reason it's a useless step for me.

@@kellya8267 I had no clue Double Wear was reformulated, thank you for the info! I'm much more inclined to try it now. Might still skip Fix Plus due to the fact that it doesn't do much for makeup longevity. That and the stickiness would really put a damper on things (no pun intended).

@@carabeck3671 i have their stick foundation & have really enjoyed it the few times i have used it. i was considering the deal with the lip liners & semi-matte lipsticks. it’s the most common equivalent to LYS Beauty at Sephora with it being women black owned brands with reasonable prices.
