In northern India (like Kashmir), people tend to have really light skin tone (as light as Koreans). In southern India, people tend to have tan or dark complexion skin tone. But of course there are other major (more prominent) factors that contribute to how light or dark ones skin tone can be in India which also makes India unique (:

Lol we do have giraffes in India. And yes Danny, you're right - India has a lot of different ethnicities so a lot of us are fair. The actress' father is Kashmiri and her mother's from Hong Kong and the actress was raised in the UK, I think. Anyway, Kashmir is the most northern part of India and they're generally fair. Also, this movie was shot in Cape Town, Morocco, Thailand and Darjeeling (India) lol. And the two characters are attempting to solve a case, I believe - that's what I understood by the trailer anyway and the fact that 'Jasoos' from the title 'Jagga Jasoos' translates to detective in Hindi. Anyway, you guys should watch the trailer. Maybe it'll interest you in the movie. The actor is phenomenal and his previous work with the actress was very well received.

I like how David is suprised that indian's are fair. I mean, he has seen a considerable number of indian movie traliers and he gets it now. Its cute, and funny. And yes, we have a lot of skin tones in India within the 'brown' people and not the Mongloloids of NorthEast. Even the Mongoloids have different tones of brown and fair in india. If you are considering your opinion on Bahulbali then you should know that Bahubali was a south Indian film not bollywood and people is south are generally darker shade of brown. I have friends that are so light in color that they could pass off as White if not for their non-caucasian bone structures and at the same time some of my friends could pass of Black if not for their non-African bodytype and hair.

caucasian is not a real term. There are indians with caucasian features and there are also europeans that don't have caucasian features. caucasian and white skin are not synonymous. For example, an albino african still looks african because of their features. However, an albino Indian would look norwegian bc of their features. The US government is the one that has been trying to make caucasian synonymous with white. honestly, its discreet racism to make them feel a lot more different than everyone else.

India does have White, green and sand hills, it has desert, huge rivers of many colours, like black, green blue and in-betweens. this movie isn't all about romance. infact it's a twisted directive story. Btw you'll hardly find any indian movie having only one genre except some hardcore action and art films. you guys should check out on of the trailers even if you can't react to it. hey, seeing this video 6 years later, still on time i'd like to think tho :P So, to clarify about the skin tone difference, the two actors in this video, Katrina kaif and Ranbir kapoor, have origins from the WAY up north parts of India, closer to foreign countries like Pakistan and so the skin tones that natives from these countries tend to have, which are more lighter, that passes over to them too. You'll see this in the far northeast states of India like Meghalaya, west bengal, Assam, etc. these states are near to the tibetan region, so they'll even look like people from there. Katrina Kaif is of kashmiri origin and Ranbir kapoor is of Punjabi origin. As someone pointed out here, that's the beauty of India. the diversity is so vast, and it reflects in our physical appearances too!

Sheetu Nain I'm talking about her MATERNAL grandmother. She herself said in a video interview that her mother's mother is a full white British woman. Also, Alia Bhatt's mother is half white. I don't consider Alia Byatt fair and there's nothing wrong with that. She has a beautiful golden brown skin tone. MAJORITY of Indians have a beautiful brown skinned tone to them. Let's celebrate the majority instead of putting the small minority ( light skinned Indians) on a pedestal and worshipping them as if they are god's gift to India.

SHANU SHARMA I beg to differ. (And I'm an Indian, for your peace of mind) No culture or nationality can be labelled as racist or discriminating or mocking. Just like any country, we too have people who make fun of other ethnicities and cultures. I'm not siding with anyone or judging what they said in this video but some Indians mock people with mongoloid features (and I think that is the politically correct way to refer to them, if I'm not wrong) and call them "Chinki" or Chinese. It's derogatory most of the time even though we have a lot of people in north-east India with those features!(although, I find that some people just use it as a word because they don't know a more sensitive term) (just as people use black and white which again are terms which should be avoided and replaced) I guess every society is in making *shrugs*

Ok so basically this movie is about a mission of gun carts which were dropped from planes now ranbeer kapoor’s father adopted him and stayed together so he basically he had speech problem so the father helped him out. But the father’s luck was so bad so bad things kept happening once he was taken into a gang and the boy was send to a hostel during that Time he met katrina Kaif. He helped her out so later he was taken by his fathers gang and told him that his father died in an accident. So after figuring it out he found out that his father was still alive and then ranbeer found out Katrina and his father had the same luck so they went to Africa to find him in hotel agapastala while there were hundreds of them. The fathers gang came in search of them and by that they lost money their bag everything. So that is how they started the street dance.

I must say that india is a definition of diversity we have black really white brown colour people and we also have people looking like korean and we also have dessert, rainforest, snowy, and really beautiful scenery and also have beeches india is a full package if you want to learn about indian and this is the best country in the world
