I'm feeling so sorry for these children, especially Olivia standing alone in the middle of the playground - it was just heartbreaking to watch ...I really don't understand what their mother was thinking by bringing them to Japan - it would be much easier for these children to integrate in Europe instead of such a far away country with completely different culture and such a difficult language/the way of writing... I brought my children to London, UK when my daughter was only 5.5 years old - I could see how hard it was for her for the first 6-7 months, but in the UK they have a lot of experience how to teach children for whom English is their second language.....I still remember how happy I were when my daughter's teacher told me my daughter started to speak in English.....after only 3 weeks at school....
