Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrives in Helsinki on a surprise visit to Finland to participate in a summit gathering the leaders of the five Nordic nations. Zelensky is welcomed by his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto, whose country became NATO's newest member in April, with the two leaders set to discuss "Ukraine's defence struggle" in the face of Russia's invasion.

@redsonjaable Well, his low key flight trip included just in our end: 2 Boeings (you cant be sure on which one he flies). Finnish Army NH helicopters patrolling the area between airport and Helsinki center (you can bet carrying armed to teeth Special Jägers). Coast Guard guardship Turva parked right on front of reception area in middle of Helsinki (Turva has means to detect underwater threaths, can land big helos, and serve as command post). And at least 1 (most propably more, beyond visual) pair of Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Hornets escorting his aircraft. We pay the costs gladly. He was welcomed visitor.
