This is a beautiful Soviet March! 👍 I think it would be hilarious if the Russian military bands performed it on Red Square for the upcoming Victory Day parade. Ukrainian nationalists would lose their minds because this march contains musical quotes of famous Ukrainian songs, such as "Ой, на гори та й женьцi жнуть" and "Гей, наливайте повнї чарi." It would completely disprove the idea that Russia is allegedly "destroying" Ukrainian culture. 😅
Where can I find this march? On which album?
Спасибо! Тот-же самый вопрос про песни: 1.? 2.Гей, наливайте повнї чарi 3.То-же самое что под 1 4.? 5.? 6.Розпрягайте,хлопцi, конi 7.? 8.? 9.Ой,на гори та й женьцi жнуть 10.?

Oh wow, some of the tune in this march are still randomly used by Ukrainian Military Bands today, including “Zaporizhian March”, “A Free Ukraine”,... 😮

That's because Tchernetsky deliberately based many of his marches on the themes of songs from different nationalities, hence why he titled this march as "Ukrainian March." Most of his Russian marches include musical quotes from famous Russian folk songs. A great example of this can be heard from the March of 8th Guards Rifle Division "Panfilov-Division", where a direct musical quote from the famous Russian folk song titled "Song of Stenka Razin" can be heard.

@@Rustycaddy17 True. I'd swear I hear "Bolshevik Sergei Lazov" in around 2:15.
Никогда не слышал этот марш. Он, конечно, менее интересный, чем №2. Я слышал, что у Чернецкого украинских маршей не два, а больше, но, наверное, это пустая болтовня. Что скажешь, Федя?
