What you're seeing is Ukraine special forces and volunteer special forces from abroad, the cream of the crop in action. They won't show you the recruits getting smashed by artillery because that's not good for PR.

@@ReikerForge Well we saw the cream of the Russian Airborne forces get smashed at Kyiv airport by the ordinary soldiers so they must be pretty good. Artillery does not care if your good or bad. If it got your number on it your toast, if it’s got your GPS position on it your double toast.

Very good point... One of the main reasons the Russians have been such worthless soldiers is because they completely lack relevent experience in an urban/war of attrition theater... Syria/Chechnya does not count... just like working as a cashier at a McDonald's does not qualify someone to become the CEO of McDonald's
