The weapon used in the video is a Swedish AT4. No idea why they call it a British NLAW when it isn't the weapon being used, and the NLAWs are designed by Swedish Saab Bofors anyway.

My friend you don't have to worry about losing this war. Ukraine will never lose. The weapons they have been given are way too good and many more are on the way. Also Ukraine produces their own anti tank rocket. They had something like 7,000 of them built since 2015. If you hear the number 7,000 you can be sure it was triple that number. They are fine. Russian armor cannot advance. Over 1 million Ukraine are armed. Russia doesn't have the numbers. Yes they will continue to bomb but they will start to run out of bombs and rockets themselves. Putin will continue to lose one tank column after another. They will eventually give up. Just wait and see. Ukraine is much stronger than what is being claimed. And they have 50,000 snipers. They also use a .308 round. It is better than a 7.62 and the NATO round .556.

The T-72 has an auto-loader directly under the turret. The shells are in a circle all around the base. This allows one less soldier in the tank. If it's hit by a Javelin or similar, and penetrates the turret, ALL of the munitions in the auto-loader detonate. That's why the turrets fly off. Terrible design.

Stugna-P will go through the Abram's explosive reactive armor and then drill through 1100mm or 3.5 FEET of armor. Tanks are no match for anti-tank missiles. Simple.

From America, my greatest respect for Vietnamese heroes who were brave in the face of the American aggressor... It was before my time, maybe even before your time, but please know that not all Americans see the Vietnam War as a military accomplishment for the US. Some of us here believe the whole war was wrong and we are aware and really angered and heartbroken about the atrocities and war crimes our country committed in Vietnam... I lived next door to a veterans home and the veteran hospital and most were Vietnam vets and many are still truly traumatized and feel horrible for what they did in Vietnam. Most of the Vietnam vets I know are unfortunately alcoholics and drug addicts because they are really ashamed of what they did to your country. After all this time they still can't forgive themselves.

Russian nuclear forces were put on "full alert" at the start of the Ukraine invasion. Putin is attending Kremlin events with the black bag in tow. They are committing ideological genocide in Ukraine and all of Putin's supporters love this. They are denying their own KIA, and entire divisions with the command structure have been completely destroyed. I honestly think that using first strike capabilities and turning the Kremlin into a T-72 jack-in-the-box is the best solution.

You do know before Russia invaded Ukraine was the base for the child trafficking ring throughout Europe right? Zelensky was taking bribes from all of the shady oil and gas companies including Burisma which Hunter Biden was on as well as Rotatom which Hillary and Biden sold our uranium to Ukraine. Zelensky is a crossdressing gay bondage freak who was letting the globalists set up their American bio labs in Ukraine to make deadly diseases to use against Russians there.

The range and accuracy of this weapon is unbelievable. It's so simple and quick, no need to estimate range. Point, track and shoot. The solider shooting the missile is essentially out of effective rifle fire range and can simply run away.

Something to note from the video is those BTRs are emplaced on hull down fighting positions, but not two step firing positions. The roof tops of the btr were still visible and thus fair game for javelin and NLAW. Something else, no sign of movement on the ground. Where were the dismounts? I am getting the impression some of these russian units are operating at far below strength. Maybe just vehicle crews? Russian version of shock and awe with little shock and almost no awe involved.

@UC7flE0ToLlUb86cQdPQj7YQ ZI think the downward firing warhead is Swedish and comes from the BILL missile. The precision accelerometer on a chip guidance is British I think Feranti. The soft launch rocket (salt water counter shot) Swedish and is similar to that used on the Swedish AT4 and allows it to be shot from enclosed space and bunkers.

@@bdinaz NLAW doesn't strictly lock on so it doesn't need to see the roof - if the user knows where the tank is and can fire the over the top of it then the missile will automatically hug the ground and if it detects it's going over a tank the downward firing charge will automatically fire over the centre of mass. So I suspect it's very good against vehicles dug into cover.

We're sending over another 800 of these systems, put them to good use. You're Welcome from the UK!

Over the last month, I have watched the war in Ukraine and what I have seen was discussing behavior from a major power. I have served most of my life as a combat soldier in Canada and toured a lot of ex Warsaw pack countries over my career. These countries broke away from Russia because they wanted freedom to live as they choose. As a soldier, I spent 2 years in war torn country of the former Yugoslavia and witnessed war crimes very similar to the atrocities I am seeing in Ukraine by the Russians today. I seen the ethics of Russian militants in the past first hand and I can tell you that every report I see is the true fingerprint of a communist Russia. I have seen mass graves and the aftermath of rapes and pillaging, (ethnic cleansing) and I can honestly say that it has made a dent in my life as a Canadian. Russia will not stop there they will take Ukraine and then Poland/Baltic states. They will attempt to take Finland and Czechoslovakia if we do not act now. Russia will not stop. NATO must put the foot down or they will walk all over Eastern Europe free as they please. I have trained to fight Russians most of my career and if I can give a word of advice to all who are fighting there now, shoot the Russian officers and unit commanders/NCO, s and the fight is over. The average Soviet soldier is not trained to lead; they will be demoralized with no direction. As much as I hate war, I am a defender of freedom and the freedom of my children. I also feel sorry for the Russian public, they have no idea what there government is going to put them though. To the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy I take my hat off to you. If I were younger and my children allowed me to I be there fighting right next to you. You are an inspiration to humankind and the next historical landmark since Neal Armstrong landed on the moon. Thank you for setting this example to all of us. Win this fight, and I am still considering joining you!!!

Wasn't a tank. AT-4 wouldn't do much to the front armor of a tank. Neither vehicle seen at 0:16 was hit. The explosion if even further to the right. Possibly a small fueling station.

I always wondered how Russia could support its military, given an economy about the size of Spain. The answer seems to be that it can't. Given a competent and dedicated Ukrainian army, armed with 21st century weapons, a clear strategy and huge hearts. Russia seems lost. For sure they are bringing massive further death and destruction as they refocus in the East but given the right tools and support the Ukrainians can do them huge damage and even win this. One thing seems clear now the Russians would be toast pretty quickly if NATO brought all its conventional capability to bear on this situation, looks like the Russian myth is busted. I wouldn't have believed that a few months ago. The bottom line is they cannot afford this behaviour even with the $1Bn per day Europe spends with them. Europe needs to stop funding this war by stopping Oil and Gas purchases today. 🇺🇦

I agree with you, Russian army showed it is a paper tiger. I've always taken with skepticism the affirmation from Putin that in 2 days the russian army could be in Riga, Vilniua and Varsavia, etc... and after what we have seen in Ukraine if they attack a NATO country they will be countered pretty well from NATO also considering that NATO countries can field not just javelin, turkish drones (although pretty good), T72, etc... but F-22, A10, Patriot, Apache helicopters, Abrahams, Leopard, Challenger, etc... more modern equipment... the myth of the russian army has gone...

I would say those weapons work pretty well. It shows what happens when you don’t have air and infantry support for armour. You can pick them off one by one…..and we thought the Russians were good. Well Im glad we were wrong.

It's a guerilla war, always was. The occupier will never win that, just like the Soviets in Afghanistan, now if it was open warfare, it would be a completely different story, the Russians woukd smash them, as their training techniques are geared towards defence against Nato, hence why thry are being beaten here at their own game. I'm pretty sure they will come up with a solution to fry all those drones in the sky with EMP, the Ukrainian drones will fall out of the sky, the Starstreak and Javelins can be fried too, but the Ukraine is too large a country to cover with EMP technology battery Stoppers they are called. The Russians just don't have the money and resources to do that, if they did, it would be a completely different story altogether.

The biggest regret everyone is going to have is not sending in NATO or the US right now, when Russia is regrouping. They're going to lick their wounds, put a savage in charge, and come back hard. If NATO attacks now it will yield maximum results in Ukraine and might cause Putin to be overthrown.

yes, these channels can give too rosy a picture- the russians hold a lot of the east and south, mariupol is about to fall. we will see if the ukrainians can go on the offensive and take at least some of it back, or just keep harassing them one tank at a time. Would like to see a few ships sunk.

I know this is WAR! I back Ukraine. But I feel all sad for those who died and critically injured on both sides.

Russians, especially those in the military, are living in a bubble unfortunately. "The special military operation" is a complete success so far. They don't know what is about to hit them when they enter Ukraine.

It is mental how dji mavic drones have proven to be so useful in flying forward to around 4km (possibly more with antenna boosters) to recon enemy positions and provide co-ordinates to Ukraine artillery...how times have changed....Ukrainians/azomov/recon/spec forces/ even ukraine civilians gathering together to fly dji drones over the towns to help.......brilliant collaborations. Fighting smart.......

This could have been done this way 20 years ago by the US military. But they are too bureaucratic and stupid. Thanks for the Ukrainians showing the way. You can’t believe how stupid western military forces are. Buying F35s $400 million a pop when you consider R&D costs amortized. Think of how many drowned you can get for One fat little F 35? You can get hundreds of drones that carry precision munitions or tens of thousands that do recon. There is no limit to the stupidity of the American military machine.

If you have a real time display of your mortar impacts, you can essentially put direct fire on any location from miles away. Even with bad mortarman. ( which is all mortarman)

Another reason to buy shares in SAAB and Thales - they must be working double shifts to provide as many NLAW as possible. The Swedish and British designers deserve a bonus for coming up with such a simple and effective weapon. With a few minutes training, any man or woman can take down a tank. Marvellous. It's Saab (i.e. Swedish) designed. It is just made in GB - presumably as labor costs are much lower, making it cheaper to manufacture.
