If Im wrong call me out when this is all over, but what comes next is gonna be a bloodbath, its might not end well for ukraine, just like what happened in Grozny two decades ago.

The Ukrainian Army either retreats or surrenders. The national battalions, trying to resist, take civilians hostage and do not allow them to go through the humanitarian corridors opened by the Russian army. When trying to leave the settlement, civilians are also shot by the families of the national battalions

That city was pretty much under Russia control fuew years now. 98% of separatist were Russian paid soldiers (mursinary) who crosses border as civilians at first and they came in with unmarked new tanks. They are just now puting flags and reveling who they actually are.

Even the Russian invading soldiers were lied to! They don't want this either but were told they could be shot for refusing orders. 80% of them are conscripts. Did you see the video of the Russians who have been captured? They look like they just emerged into adulthood. Childhood was only a year or two ago for a lot of them. The Russian military, the generals, and the Russian oligarchy, who are losing their fortunes, should all turn on Putin and rid the world of that madman.

I watched a video the other day of a Vietnam veteran who volunteered to join the army (early on in the war). He joined to liberate Vietnam from the Vietcong. That was the picture the news painted. When he got there, with time he realized that the picture that was painted by the news and the reality in Vietnam was not the same. Eventually he became dissalusioned and then his personal mission turned into a struggle to get back home. Propaganda is a normal part of war. It's how you motive your own soldiers. How you demoralize the opposition. How you win allies. Etc. Both sides are revving up their propaganda machines...because it's a normal part of war. It's purpose is to sweep you away, mind and heart, and carry you into the into something no human being should have to experience. The picture being painted no longer matches reality. There are other ways to help.

the 'russian separatists' have been in charge of Donetsk for the last 8 years...while being shelled for having the temerity to ask for self determination... not 2nd class citizenship under a quasi fascist junta installed by americans in Kiev...

Go and stop them. Have you been saying that for the last 7 years when the Ukrainian army killed people in Lugansk and Donetsk ??? The Ukrainian army killed 14,000 people in Lugansk and Donetsk.

@@huldra8215 Plus he's ignoring that these aren't ukrainians. Putin moved thousands across the donbas border FROM RUSSIA in 2014 during the crimean invasion. That's why russia's population has been plummeting since 2012. He has been moving russians into kazakhstan, belarus, ukraine and he's been trying it recently in poland. That's also why kazakhstan's population has been skyrocketing at unnatural rates. He is russifying his puppets just like stalin did.

This is total garbage. There's a video from that old lady in a purple headscarf complaining about Ukranian forces shelling her house. They are the ones attacking civilians. They have been for the past 8 years. Donetsk is under constant bombardment from the Ukranian nationalist forces. This video is nothing but editing work. What could I hope for from the Sun?

Yes i agree with this. People in Pakistan have been facing such western propaganda as well. I saw the old lady previously in 2015 in a documentary in RT. These civilians are actually from seperatist held Donbass region. Saw a documentray regarding it on RT. So many people have died cause of crimes perpetrated by Azov and Georgian brigade here in the grey zone.

Terrible reporting those Ukrainian civilians were the ones cut off in the Donbas and attacked by Kiev and the Ukrainian army since 2014

Thats the freedom they want people to live under...

Reminds me of when the Argentinians hung there flag on British soil. It wasn't there for long.

Please, dont call Donetsk as Ukraine, Donetsk is independent country DPR.

If people want to fight, that’s their choice, but I don’t believe anyone on either side should be forced to fight in this day and age. This doesn’t make them cowards, it’s should be their choice to flee. Just my opinion.

1 small town being captured doesn't mean the fall of an entire country. Russians are taking some heavy casualties in all this conflict.
