Russia has lost momentum in Kharkiv in part due to Ukraine being finally free to do what it must and because the soldiers were a mixture of African and Asian mercenaries along with Russian prisoners and none could communicate. Sadly the Budapest Memorandum of 1993 was not honoured by ANY of the signatories, apart from Ukraine itself, those being the US, UK and Russia. It was an agreement that all signatories agreed to protect Ukraine from any aggression after they surrendered their nuclear stockpile (back to Russia) but was ignored by all three when Russia took Crimea in 2014, allowing Putin to believe he could enter and attack Ukraine in 2022. Shame on those three major powers who did not honour that agreement, in either 2014 or 2022, a promise which Ukraine had a right to expect would be kept, and has revealed the dishonesty that Ukraine were treated with in the early days of this sad conflict. That abrogation requires the west to now offer far more assistance to Ukraine, who were profoundly let down in this broken promise. I daresay Zelensky would like to publicly refer to this agreement, but dare not as he is so subject to the varying support of the US and UK. His nation being cruelly ransacked, and his people killed in their homes, while wealthy nations contemplate the impact on their domestic election prospects...

In July of 2023, as I was traveling from Kramatorsk, somewhere along the way, I met a Ukrainian soldier. I asked him when would Ukraine once and for all take out the Kersh Bridge? I explained the short history of the bridge and Ukraine's twice efforts to damage it. I explained how other routes from the eastern part of occupied areas could replace transportation should the Kersh Bridge be taken out "once and for all." I wasn't expecting Ukrainian secrets to be revealed to me. He was just a soldier, returning from battle in the Donbas area to Kyiv. His lips were tights as were others. I didn't get an answer. Ultimately, I explained that the U.S. and other countries hadn't yet provided the necessary weapons to take it out. Likely what would need to happen is for Ukraine to destroy a good chunk of it but then to easily return to prevent repairs of it. The F-16 jets with precision weaponry could heavily damage parts of the bridge and then could continue to monitor its status. The russian air defense systems are being targeted. This is good. In July of 2023, I also spoke to a smart, solidly speaking English upper- ranking Ukrainian soldier of Azov very near the battle zone and one important impression I got from him was the value of taking out behind the battle zone russian weaponry. While I was saying that the 2023 summer counter offense would not be successful because the U.S. had not provided the necessary weaponry to do so, which I wrote about, and that Ukraine should instead save what weapons had been given them as best as they could do in their ability to do so, and to save their men, until the correct time had come for the conducting of the counter offense, which Ukraine currently is doing by target air defense systems in preparation of making the skies safer for F-16 jets, and has been doing for some time, including the destruction of refineries. The continued degrading of artillery, russian SUs, and other weaponry, along with radar and air defenses, helps in this preparation. It also demoralizes the russian soldiers.

Which missile systems did Ukraine destroy when Russia's only fighting with spades and shovels.......and taking towns?

I'm not really surprised that these systems get destroyed. Static defenses like these are vulnerable to direct strikes against them. That is why these AA systems should have multiple layers of defenses to protect them. Leaving these systems out in the open without any protection just leaves them vulnerable. Every military system has a counter measure, Ukraine has found an effective countermeasure to deal with these systems.

Did they say what other countries were involved? Were US spy satellites and drones involved and the people have clearance to use them? Was the British or French military involved to program the cruise missiles? or if it was ATACMS were any as German general calls them people with American accent involved? Does it matter as long as Russia doesn't retaliate directly at countries involved? And when Russia retaliates will it be called another unprovoked attack??

Unfortunely their country is most poorest country in Europe. Thats why they wants moving far away from Uni Soviet era mindset. Then most Ukraine People who excepted joint with Nato and Uni Europe,it's would make their country is better.

I am not sure who is mocking the Ukrainian people at this point. Quite the opposite I think in most of the world. Ukrainians have earned the respect of the world in standing up to Russia and fighting bravely. Moreover, Ukrainians have demonstrated ingenuity in coming up with asymmetrical tactics to counter Russian power. Slava Ukraine!

@@lancecahill5486 I doubt Ukraine is the most educated country in Europe. Also, I doubt that Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe. Certainly, Russia must be seen as being more corrupt because it's corruption has become so entrenched and supported at the highest levels that corruption in Russia must be seen as a Feature of that country. Moreover, corruption exists in many countries in Europe. I don't have a ranking. But, I would say that corruption in Ukraine, while certainly present, must be understood by the Ukrainian government to be counterproductive to the survival of the state and themselves when Western governments are looking to ensure that their aid is used properly. If we can help Ukraine become free of Russia and a more prosperous country under the rule of law, then that will go a long way to resolving the problem of corruption. In the meantime, Ukraine is certainly deserving of Western support.

Nobody is mocking Ukrainians except for Russian cyber units. From what I can tell, former Soviet Union and former Eastern European countries had excellent education system. But the transition to a market-economy was more challenging for some countries than others. Many of the former Soviet republic in Central Asia transitioned to authoritarian regimes that are ruled by billionaires. Russia created many oligarchs that were inter-connected with the Russian regime.

They won't just destroy using Taurus . They will use various means all at once. Be assured of that. This analyst does not know what Ukraine has and simply guesses.

So Russia's air defence systems can't even defend themselves against attacks from the air? Then how the heck are they supposed to defend a huge area from attacks from the air? And if they can't deal with the very few weapons of limited quality that Ukraine has then how the heck would they deal with defending against American and other NATO forces when the United States alone has three of the four most powerful airforces in the world?

Even if successful, its all quite useless escalation, only thing it achieves is heightening chances of a full scale war between NATO and Russia. The Russians have shown to posses a remarkable amount of patience, but keep irritating them, and eventually the patience will have been used up. The idea that the west can exhaust Russia's hardware and thus win the war is not a serious argument. China, unlike most citizens in NATO, is fully aware how the USA engineered this conflict, and off the plans of the US to break Russia into servile small pieces, and with China being the bigger enemy of the US, they will expect the same treatment after NATO is done with Russia. So China will never ever allow Russia to be beaten. They know that if that were to happen they will be targeted next. Till now Russia has been doing just fine against the western alliance. But if military shortages do come into play, that will be the day China starts it's intervention. And US policy has made it so that China will literally have no other choice. But any serious person who has studied China's tech, Supply chains, Manufacturing capacity even a little bit knows full well that NATO is in a fight they cannot possibly even hope win. Export to the west would stop in case of war, and within two months the west won't be producing any more cars, electronics, airplanes, missiles or tanks. That is the reality, so why keep escalating? What's the point? The complete economic collapse of EU and US? This escalation is just nonsensical self-destructive stupidity.

We know that can't be stopped Soviet Union and the Us both knew it and that's why they signed the Anti Ballistic Missile Treaty. Iran showed it recently that even if you give a 36 hour warning and tell them where exactly your side is aiming, such an attack cannot be stopped. Iran didn't have glide path actuators, they were purely ballistic, with no stealth, and 9 went straight on target out of 13 I think it was. The age of the carrier as a colonialism support weapon is over.

@@nigelgarrett7970 The day Iran scored its hits, the carriers lost 80% of their value. And the Americans know it very well. Doesn't mean the US isn't powerful anymore, they are, they have their submarine fleet. But I suspect they won't dare attack with the fancy Stealth Planes, I'm reasonably sure that their invisibility has been oversold. With good AI, which the Chinese do just fine, and the right sensor set, screwed. They still have exhausts, and spew water vapor, they might have the radar reflection of a big bird, but birds don't supercruise. And when you can add and subtract fast enough with good sensors, mehh. I don't believe they'll be spotted over Russia or China anytime soon.

Nice try, but Telegram is where you will find photos and videos of destroyed targets, just as was posted on Telegram of previously destroyed S-300 systems. Even better yet, the screenshots/videos of Russian Telegram channels is even more proof, as they post countless messages as they rage, cope, and seethe. 😂
