Ukraine’s ATACMS Jolt Warship In Sevastopol, Radar In Crimea | US-Made Missile Hits Russian Airbase
Ukraine struck a Russian military’s space radar station in Crimea on May 22, as per The Wall Street Journal. Kyiv hit the Russian target in the southern Crimean city of Alushta using ATACMS, WSJ reported, citing a Ukrainian defence official. The strike used at least six ATACMS ballistic missiles with cluster warheads to target the Russian air defence in the Crimean peninsula. Meanwhile, Kyiv’s forces also launched a ballistic missile attack on a Russian S-400 “Triumf” air defence system near the village of Klenivka in the Donetsk region. While Ukraine is struggling to hold back Russian forces along its northern and eastern fronts, ATACMS has allowed Kyiv to menace Putin’s hold on Crimea.

Guess how many S400 systems they build per year. Ukraine (NATO) could hit one every week, and they'd run out of ATACMs before they started depleting the S400s. It won't be long, and no ATACMs will get through. In the mean time, every AD system in the world has trouble intercepting ballistic missiles. This video keeps mentioning Ukraine replenishing its military. They've already done that three times, and are still getting shellacked.

The strategy is to overwhelm rhe system, if the defense system can manage to shoot down some of the missiles but others will be able to hit and destroy the defense system. 7 missiles most likely worth 7 million compared to an air defense systems worth almost a billion.

That's not true. ATACMS are fired from the HIMARS truck (the track variant) which Ukrainian are all too familiar with by now. All they need are intelligence surveillance and the GPS coordinates.

It won't work because if you notice then you will realize that some of the ATACMS have cluster bombs. Jamming will only make a missile miss by few meters, but that won't make any difference if you have cluster bombs.
