Nope it's not a failure. You don't understand Foreign Policy. This solidifies relationship btn Ukraine and it's new allies. Russia Publicly declared they would take Ukraine in less than 2 weeks like they did Georgia in 2008. It's been how long ever since?

How about actually having a peace conference and discuss a cease fire.

Actually they do. Russia's long term goals since Stalin has been to expand Westwards. Putin personal wrote it in his essay in 2021 entitled 'On the History of Russians & Ukrainians' They declared they'd take Ukraine in less than 2 weeks like they did Georgia. It's been how long ever since?

Why should Putin propose for cease fire? This should be made by Zelenskyy. What does it tell us? Putin is frustrated. Conditions for peace: 1. Russia must leave all of Ukraine's annexed territories including Crimea and the Donbas region and return to Ukrainian sovereignty. 2. Pay compensation to Ukraine for all the damage done by Russia. Russia must bear all the costs for rebuilding Ukraine 3. Promise not to carry out attacks on other countries in the future 4. Vladimir Putin must be held accountable for his abominations in Ukraine. Crimea is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Luhansk is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Donetsk is Ukraine 🇺🇦 1991 borders MUST be returned.

It's a Successful Summit. Russia's long term goals since Stalin has been to expand Westwards. It's why it's at loggerheads with All of it's Neighbors. Putin even mentioned this in his essay in 2021 entitled 'On the History of Russians & Ukrainians'. They Publicly declared they'd take Ukraine in less than 2 weeks like they did Georgia in 2008. How long has it been ever since. I'd say they've successfully given Russian expansion a check mate

​@@FunkySpaceLord Peace surely is based on what we know. And we know 2014 never worked. We also learned about the nature of the Kyiv regime-resulting in breach of the Minsk agreements by both sides. Among other things, there's been coup's, attacks on Russian citizens, Russian language, and a bloom of Nazi ideology in Ukraine. As well as external sponsors. So peace in Eastern Europe has to take into account the current circumstances to avoid perpetual loop, perpetual war, (or worse).

@@rareearthelement8698 the Minsk agreements came AFTER Putins failed invasion of 2014 and it was Russia that was an ally of Germany from 1939-1941. Russia and Germany invaded Eastern Europe together and took Poland together. It was GERMANY that broke the pact NOT Russia
