Ukraine front line near Kharkiv situation ‘dynamic and tense’ | BBC News
Russia’s President Putin has said there are no plans to capture the country's second city Kharkiv, after Russian troops crossed the border into north eastern Ukraine.
The Russian leader said his forces were advancing in order to protect the Russian border region.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted that there were issues with military staffing and morale, saying a number of existing brigades were empty.
He said the country's air fleet was lacking and renewed calls for allies to send more air defence and fighter jets.

It was just tanks and AFVs. The aim was to remove the American puppet zelensky. Take anything from Russia now and we'll talk. Much touted ukraine counteroffensive with superior game changing western weapons was a disaster. All those weapons are on display in Moscow

Ukraine war reminds me of the Iraq invasion by US under false justification. At least Russia has a point in not allowing more NATO (US) bases on its borders.
