As a veteran who has served in conflict I have so much respect for those who have chosen to fight. Only reason this is a big deal is because Russia has invaded a sovereign country which is something Russia hasn't done since the second world war. Whereas America invading a sovereign nation is nothing new. You got used to America invading sovereign countries for more than two decades, getting ready for Russia doing the same thing shouldn't be that hard.
