@@joymon6235 In Engineering- IT/Electronics you will get good package after an year or two. You may grab good packages in Civil, mechanical or telecom fields after a certain experience. But you should really polish your skills and try for better jobs frequently. Else you will end up with low paying jobs. In commerce, you can grab good jobs in MNCs including the big 4 (ey, kpmg, pwc, deloitte) if you are skilled. You can be a chartered accountant if you are extremely skilled. These jobs can give you lakhs per month in India.

I moved to Australia, good salary, good people, good weather, good management. Only 5 days work in one week. No wonder new gens leaving India.

@@Ajith530 That is why I said you should polish your skills and look for good opportunities frequently in India. I was in small IT firms when I started my career. Attending interviews and trying to learn new technologies made me able to land in an MNC before 3 years of experience. I jump every three years now. I know mechanical field is not like IT. It will be more tough. But I think eventually it will land you in a high paying comfortable job in India as well. The problem in India is that we may not have a work-life balance or career growth if we are staying in small companies. They will squeeze you out.

The quality of life in UK is much better than in India...by quality i mean the value for the money spent (tax and living expense money) clean streets, public transport, trips to other countries, quality products (quality of grocery vs the same in India, cars, electronics etc.). Everyone is forgetting the Tax in India is also more than most developed nations. On average salaried Indians pay 50% of their income in taxes. Everyone talks about income tax but forgets GST. People in India have to pay incometax plus tax on goods, services and even investment gains. (The value of a 15 lack car in India is only 7 Lack the rest is taxes, road tax, GST etc).After paying all these tax the quality of life in India is just average.

Why should a GP see someone with fever, paracetamol will take away the fever in a couple of days. I am an engineer living in this country for 4 years now and I completely understand student life will be different than mine. You should work hard, most students are not aware of the benefits this country provide. The work life balance and quality of life is uncomparamble with India. As an experienced person in this country I would say if you are ready to work hard and struggle initially you will definitely succeed and will have a better life here. Nothing comes easy but once you are settled here then there is no looking back.

My friends with mbbs and pg are going to UK because they were getting less than 1.5 lakh per month. Now they are telling they want to come back. 🙄 I guess India is better if you actually have a high paying job

1st reason Missing kerala, food and friends. 2nd they have to manage everything alone there, while here they used to have maids and everything was taken care of. They were telling whatever we do we will be second citizens there. It's their opinion. And they have lot of job opportunities in kerala as they have specialized in different branches

Uk is far better for persons like me .. whoever earning less than 75000 in india will find comfortable over here. I could now easily save 75000 .. 😌 am happy with that and hoping to improve my level in future, After coming to uk i could travel easily to different counties , i was able to see my idol ‘messi’. My clothes i wear, the brands i used for my legs everything positively changed which will have been harder in India … ( i just miss my family and few friends) after all thats life .. we need to sacrifice something somewhere in life …

Better to find a public university in Europe. In Finland and Sweden you will get scholarships. I'm currently in France. My friends are working here after their studies. They only paid less money for fees. Otherwise try Canada.

I had done my Bachelor's in Renewable Energy in India and currently doing MSc in Renewable Energy Management in Coventry university. I have overall 5 years of professional experience in the same field in Dubai and Kerala as well. But placement option onnum Coventry university oru arivum illa even though i have merit and distinction for each modules in 1st and 2nd semester. Still searching for job and main reason for rejection is visa status. I said that I would be able to apply for PSW on May 2023 but they are not accepting. Don't know if I can find a job in future.. Let's see..
