And by the way just because some one has been oppressed don't mean they we never be an oppressor, in fact the opposite it true. This is how the cycle of child abuse continues. The experience of oppression is universal and does not give you magical qualities. By the way Africa is a mess today and it has nothing to due with the west. The African country that were never not colonized by the West is still one of the world's; Ethiopia. Africa is poor because of tribalism.

Already have you’re 300 years too late. Look up Queen Charlotte, she was King George’s wife during the American war of independence. Had 15 kids, 13 of whom survived into adulthood. One of her kids fathered Queen Victoria, so you can claim the current lineage of the royal family are black descendants of Charlotte.

Not to steal this. But this song will be sung at my wedding by a choir. I thankfully have many friends who work in music and live performance so I’m not worried of how it will sound. This moves me so much and I want to feel this same magic on that day. I also want strings to play in the ceremony space. I have big dreams for my wedding. Need to make some money.

Now let me address those 917 individuals who disliked this video. What did you not like in this performance? The lyrics? The music? The voices? The looks of the performers? Their outfits? The lighting? The acoustics? The decorations? The location? The quality of the shoot? What is there not to like in the divine?

This was the most memorable moment of the wedding for me. So beautifully sung

Everyone talks about Harry standing by Meghan. Without her support, he would never have left the royal family. She is standing by him. Whenever I listen to this song, I think that together they are able to do what they couldn't have done alone. Isn't that was love and marriage is about? I wish my own marriage had survived the challenges of life instead of crumbling under the pressure. May they have a long, loving, and successful marriage.

It is so powerfully emotive of the sacred bond between the bride and the groom. The singers had divine inspiration and a superbly spiritual drive behind their rendering of this uplifting lyric! Words fail to describe the true impact of this performance on my heart and soul!

The preacher nailed it and so did this choir.

Woman in purple and the choir looked good and they slayed. They are standing by each other. Wonderful wedding and wonderful song and moment.

It's diversity that makes life so beautiful. Fantastic song choice, version and performance. It speaks volumes. I wish the married couple all the love in this world.

Jefta Jonathan It would have been inappropriate to applaud this or any performance/musical selection at a wedding. This was not a concert, this was a ceremony that was sacred. I also enjoyed the cello selection.

It’s disrespectful

I can't tell you why I was so teary eyed during the entire ceremony. It was just so moving and beautiful. Harry was emotional during the ceremony. I cannot help but think that he was thinking of his mother and/ or how incredible lucky he is for finding his special person.

Where will it all end? I cant help but think I just wished Meghan had just ignored it and play their game. Surely Meghan ust have realised that she is black and would be treated differently. Like so many of us commoners. Just get on with your life and accept it. It's the reality. I wonder how she would react if she was around when.i was the only black child in an English School like I was and the problems it caused.

I truly do not believe that their troubles are about race. It’s about character. Harry and Meghan have both shown truly selfish characters since their wedding, and attacking Her Majesty the Queen when they KNOW she cannot retaliate is appalling. Families do have problems, but you don’t throw the oldest family members to the wolves especially when they’re in their 90s.

@@christinemillership1189 They are actually really close to the Queen. Harry and Meghan are pretty close to his grandmother believe it or not. Harry has even said that they were in contact over video call pretty regularly. She even got Archie a Christmas present. It’s really the other Royal Family members who are the problem, not the Queen. It’s not fair. It’s not fair because even if the Royal Family did anything wrong, no matter what, Meghan will always get the blame. Like look at Prince Andrew. We have proof that he was talking to underaged girls but yet he doesn’t get anywhere near the magnitude of hate Meghan and Harry get. I bet if he was black, it would be a different story.

I've been watching this periodically since the wedding ... amazing ... so beautifully done ..

This is definitely a great song for a wedding. The lyrics are quite appropriate and simply beautiful. The choir did a phenomenal job with this song and I give them high praise for their performance. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

black singers are amazing. there's something about them that no one else can replicate. i guess it's just a thing of culture. bravo! 💛🌻💫
