There is no title of King/Queen of England. King Charles III is King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The last time the title of Queen/King of England was used is by Queen Anne in 1707 when she formed the United Kingdom.

Realistically "England" in of itself is an outdated title. Many confuse England with being synonymous with the U.K. or Great Britain, but it isn't. Edit: I do understand England is still a country today. I didn't mean to cause confusion there. I meant England is an outdated title in the *application* of naming the *WHOLE* area of the U.K. A few centuries ago, England was the title of the entire area and monarchy we now know as the U.K. Over the years, England's land was divided and altered until it got to this current point now in which England is just one country within the U.K. I'm American, and most of my fellow Americans think U.K. , England, and Great Britain are simply three different titles for one thing, which is obviously incorrect. Sorry for confusion.

Unlike England, korean people genuinely don't give a shit about house of yi and descendants of joseon royal. Because when japan colonized korea, most of royal men gave up fighting for independence or rights of our people. they lived ok life that japan provided when ordinary koreans were exploited severely and lived horrible lives under japanese rule. That's why when we got our independence, people didn't bother to consider restoration of monarchy. It was ordinary commoner men and women that devoted their lives and achieved independence. Many people woudln''t even know about Yi Won(이원). He lead the traditional royal event which i think is great for preserve and honor our culture and history. Since monarchy is an interest of mine I like to learn about non-reigning royal houses and I have wondered what happened to the Royal House of Korea. Thank you for the information! The Imperial House of Brazil (I'm brazilian btw) also continues to exist and they are keeping the lineage. The head of the Imperial House of Brazil, Prince Luís, died earlier this year, and was suceeded by his brother Prince Bertrand. FYI: I am not a monarchist/royalist, I just like to learn about the subject.

Video is a little misleading, as in Korea, we only recognize King Gojong as the last heir, and mostly because he’s the husband of Queen Min. Yi Un was a pro Japanese imperialist and fled the country when the Japanese invaded, so he could serve in their army. He was only later admitted back into Korea, when dictator Park Chunghee gave him amnesty.

This feels like Movie/anime about politics irl
A: Where's the boss today? B: He's bestowing titles and knighting the royal knights today

Surprised how so many Royal Families still exist today.
Bruh I love that everything in this world is interconnected
"An avarage person in US breaths 12 to 16 per minute guess what it is in south korea"
There is a movie called "the last princess", telling the last Korea princess held by japanese govt.
Someone should make a series plot on this
The moment I heard "VPN", I expected you to transition into a sponsorship.
Guess whose Korea's king ? Video : no one Kim jong UN : am i a joke to you ?💀
I was expecting the last bit about the vpn to be an ad🤣
I like how both the UK and Korean monarchies have at least 1 American among them.
founder of one of the most mainstream VPN?! LOL
For a second there, I thought this was an ad 😐
With that kind of title and status, I’m surprised that the Kim’s haven’t tried to have him and his family killed.
