As much as he was a wanker, he wasn't stupid enough when undisputable evidence was offered to him - and his policing decisions until that moment, was purely speculation. Then you have another level of filth below them. The pigs that will ignore or refuse to watch evidence that contradicts their decision and they nick you anyway. Sue them, the tax payer pays.. they get a slap on the wrist or a day or 2 off paid training and they laugh. Vermin. Record all interactions with police.

These characters are well aware that what they do is fundamentally wrong, and subsequently react aggressively and defensively. These are people with overinflated egos and attitudes and low morals ; stealing from their own. Like environmental “officers” and traffic wardens. Honestly , lowest of the low.

Again things which are dismissed as heresay are actually true: -officers should always wear headwear except when performing specific duties -insignia (collar number) must be declared (verbalised) when requested by anyone who is not a police officer. The list is endless, it’s genuinely thier code of conduct available from each forces website - Yorkshire one is very clear and well defined for example

The police dress code requiring an officer to wear full uniform when dealing with the public was dropped nationally years ago. There was a spate of case dismissals because it was alleged the officer was not in uniform. The Home Office quickly put a stop to that. Practically speaking as there is now no national standard each force can apply its own dress code. There is a test of reasonableness, if it is reasonable to assume the person addressing you is a police officer that will stand up in court.
