Isn’t this going to be just advisory that the MAC will share? The law being passed is another aspect? Would be great if you could share your insights.

I see your point. But the review by MAC would definitely provide some direction about where the government will head towards moving forward.

I think they will not close PSW because they are earning so much money from international students. I have an offer from university of cardiff for msc in software engineering for september2024 intake should i accept or not?

You can, send a mail to your school they will give you a letter almost looks like term letters and you can work.

You can start working after your course end date(30th september) provided you have passed everything except dissertation!

I am a parent and my son got offer letter from University of Exeter n the last date to pay deposit n secure seat is 1st week of May.. if after that this change of graduate visa gets cancelled.. will University refund the deposit ? Or what should be done ..

That is why the Home Office is looking into the PSW route, as almost all recent graduates end up in low-wage jobs after earning their degrees. Most of these are unemployed youth without any skill set, and they are from the lower to upper middle classes in South Asia, such as India. India has missed a significant opportunity to leverage the demographic dividend. India has missed out on harnessing the potential of many talented individuals due to their divisive politics. This leads to two conclusions: (1) Universities provide low-quality education that students ultimately receive. Low-paying jobs. The primary objective. PSw aims to provide students with skilled work experience in their respective fields. And (2) control migration, which is the most commonly abused route. And anyway, if Sudent has real talent, companies can sponsor it under Tier 2 categories. This route should be stopped ASAP, regardless of who wins the next general election.
