This has been going on for years . I was working 60 hours a week night shifts and living in a crummy little rented flat when nearby flats were done up for migrants . They had washer dryers … I had to go to the laundrette. They got taxis home with their shopping , I struggled on the bus .They had central heating , I had an old electric two bar heater . Do you wonder why we are resentful?

I’m genuinely HOMELESS in 5 days. Unable to find ANYWHERE to rent. Housing can only help me find private and there is simply nothing suitable for 1 guy and his cat. I’m shitting myself and looking like staying in my car. They have zero properties and I’m off the scale on getting anywhere soon …with no ‘points’ to join the queue. Oh just to have something like this as a stop gap.

Even when the council do get our own a house/ flat they dont do them up or supply white goods, sofa, beds or a laundry service. You may get a voucher to decorate it yourself if your lucky. The UK is one of the most heavily taxed Countries in Europe and what do the British Government do with your taxes. They spend them feeding, clothing and housing illegals, many of whom have criminally entered our Country without passports or proper identification. They have allowed illegals and asylum seekers to jump the housing queue, housed them in quality hotels many British people could not afford to spend a weeks holiday in and generally treated them better than the indigenous people of this Country. Why - there has to be a reason behind it.

My wife and I waited two years before we got a council place, 14th floor of a tower block. we lived there with three kids until I saved enough to buy a place. Never got anything. That was over twenty years ago. Now my kids will never get a place and will never afford to be able to move. The system is seriously corrupt.

This is not fair when our own people are losing out and we have so many homeless, pensioners and young families struggling to pay bills, people unable to get a dentist or medical treatment, no jobs. I have noticed a few migrants around madeley weighing up items to stea l in the local shop and also watching the schoolgirls walk by whilst he sat on a bench by the pool and thought it very strange. Whoever thought up this crazy idea should be made to house these migrants in their home. These flats are less than 100 yards from a secondary school and in the other direction its 50 yards to madeley court and the madeley centre which are both old peoples homes. They should have been towed straight back to dover! Now I shall be investing in CCTV and security lighting. But thats absolutely useless as we dont have a working functional police force or government.

We are 3 Trillion in Debt. Yet the Government can find all this money. No Bills or rent to pay. Plenty of Benefits I bet. Our homeless would love this treatment! What a disgrace.

The local council had a contract (check it online) they class the residents as “refugee” and are provided with a furnished unit, bedding, tv, computers, mobile phones etc etc… they think its important they are not isolated and have communication tools… its insane! I saw it on the Australia ref. Council site, assume its all the same everywhere 🤷‍♀️ great video 🙏🏻👍

Many grands' worth of stuff in every one of those flats. (The most basic kitchen refit is anything between £3&5,000.) We also get to pay for the clean-up, and refit, when everything's been trashed, and the "tenants" move somewhere else. Fantastic!

I think the block was auctioned for just under a million. Then all the work on top! A lot of money noreen.

When I got married we lived in a dingy mould infested flat, paid for all the furniture etc paid all utility bills, rent, food that was it skint till next week, as far as I’m aware these people pay nothing.

The Best Western in Nottingham is undergoing a lot of building work at the moment, all the ground floor windows have been uncovered & I've not seen a single cycle there in weeks. I suspect the illegal immigrants have been moved elsewhere.

Sadly there isn't enough people will courage in this country. I'm Northern Irish and I really really struggle to understand why locals aren't protesting outside these places like the Irish lads do. England just seems to bend over and take every last inch of this shite.

@@Joevloggsuk I'm trying to find the places in Middlesbrough that is housing them.... There's a ridiculous amount of African men landing here since the new year began. I can't find the hotels or bnbs they're staying at but I'll find them and get them posted on here. I'm probably in one of the worst places in the country for foreigners... Only found out today Middlesbrough has the highest number of immigrants in the country. Illegal or legal who knows anymore.

I’ve just emailed my MP Aaron Bell and the Councillor for Madeley - Simon White to ask for an explanation. We used to live in Madeley. Nice village. We’re not far from there now. If there are twenty six flats then that could easily be 52 people going to live there. Or don’t they like sharing like some of our people who have to share in multi occupancy homes. I’m sure they would like to be offered a newly fitted out flat. Keep going Joe …. we are all with you!

I've been on the housing waiting list now for 21 years. I moved to Northern Ireland from England and I went straight to the council to put my name on the list. I was told it would be 5 years before I got somewhere as I didn't have local connections. My partner has lived here all here life and tried to use her residency as a northern Irish citizen but they didn't want to know. 21 years later I'm still waiting but these immigrants are being housed straight away because they are deemed as a "social risk'.... its a pisstake.
