UKGarage was a sound that had great beats sweet vocals...Before I had my part time job at college fridays and saturday nights I spent recording off radio on cassette listening to Prirate ICE FM 88.4FM. Then with my money we would head to the clubs offering garage nights. The vibes were on another level the GarageGirls were on form as was the music.....a great time in the mid 90s! ❤2my UKGarage family ✌🤜🏽

First mix was out of time and slammed in out of nowhere whilst cutting off a vocal!? Second mix was out of time again smh, elementary mistakes, everything about this tells me you’ve never put in your 10,000 hours

@@DJAndyFitz Fair enough mate! Keep going! Try not to mix vocals over each other, it works on rare occasions but is usually jarring to the ear, also a sudden cut off of a vocal is the same unless you can use some sort of echo/long reverb FX or something along those lines. Keeping the mixes in time is key and If you are going to cold drop a record in then your timing needs to be super spot on. The sync button is your best friend.

@@DJAndyFitz word of advice park the sound affects and filters for a bit.. just try and mix 2 tunes from start to drop with no technical help… add the gimmicks after you learn to actually mix properly.. we had to suffer vinyl .. it will sound shit at first but trust me it will help in the end mate… auto pilot is handy but not as cool as flying the thing the old fashioned way… this is the same 👊🏼😎
