Excellent giggle. I wish there were more Brits like him embracing the EU and having a good life on the continent.

I thought this was recorded 10 Febr. 2019, but after I put on my glasses I found it had been recorded TWO years ago!! Nothing had changed.

I'm going for French citizenship as well. May be the only way to continue living and working here.

for me personally I'd rather live in a Cul-de-sac rather than a dead end. Works on so many levels

Judging by the comments the Brexiteers lost their senses of humour a while ago. Still funny, truer than ever.

I am in the exact same position of thinking of eventually becoming a Spanish citizen. How did we get here?

The term Brexit is a misnomer and a great con considering the result in Scotland and Ireland. It should have been more appropiately called Exit to make it plain that this is truely an English problem. Brexit was forced on an ill informed electorate to solve the rift in the conservative party. There were too many ambitious people like Boris Johnson who thought it is their divine right to be Prime Minister. They sacrified the needs of the country for their own ambition. This why we are where we are today

There's no cultural test for French Nationality. Just a language test. There is an important interview at the final stage. Whole process currently takes around 2 years. And I kept my British Nationality also.

Never heard of him, he's a great interpretation of Micheal Caine, circa 1969, bet the Frenchies love him. Quite funny though.

Isn’t it amazing how little Brit’s abroad assimilate to local culture? 10 years and can’t speak the language well??

One thing that is really funny, is that when they ask him how his French is, he says, "comme ci, comme ça." After 10 years. The standard complaint from the English, concerning the "foreigners" is that they don't integrate, and they don't speak English properly. SERIOUSLY????? When I go to London, every foreigner speaks English rather well. Is this what you would call a double standard?

Well you needn’t have worried Ian, because it’s all worked out just fine. Pretty much sorted itself really as Alexander was actually popping those champagne corks the whole time.
