i like this "Final Tuning" idea.. hearing the pipes.. then the band doing the final prep before going on. cheers

Thanks for the comment - that's exactly what I'm going for....
Chanters and drones nice and thick...I like this intonation and pitch, not as ghastly sky high as some of the other grade ones you are competing against...I won't mention names but we all know who they are...
When playing the pipes is it possible to hear the other pipers and drummers? I think all these bands are remarkably together considering how spread out they are. I love the pipes but they ARE loud!

The sound from inside the circle is quite different, but still extremely loud as you might guess. You often see players wearing some sort of ear protection these days....
Anyone know the name of the 6/8 at the beginning of the video ??
