Great video. Watched it twice. I have an office with 5 out buildings. Further building is 800ft to the office. The UISP setup was advised to me to connect every building since it is point to multipoint. With two access points covering a 60 degree angle, i’ll be able to cover each wave nano that is each out building. Each building has ten 1080p cameras (looking to upgrade to 4k in the next 5 years), 2 buildings have 12 wifi temp, door, and smoke sensors. Is the UISP setup overkill or would you recommend something else?

Hey! Thanks for watching, I would recommend using airMAX 5GHz NanoBeams and these will more than handle the cameras you have and the ones you are planning on adding. UISP Wave might be a little overkill for what you have planned.

What is the difference in setting it up as a PtMP link or and Access Point? Your video was so helpful in me getting these mounted. Updating them is a bit of a pain.

Is there a separate mount to bond 3 of them together or is it included in the design? we just picked up a few of these to test in one of our towers and I'm curious to see how they perform.

Hey, so Ubiquiti hasn't started offering that mount yet. For now, probably only use the one.

It's stated that one wave AC base station can support 15 stations. Does these stations means it can only support 15 clients? Kindly shed some more light to this. Thanks

Hello! Thanks for watching, the Wave AP cannot be used as a station. For that you'll need either the Wave Nano, Wave LR or Wave Pro.

Thanks for watching. With UISP Wave, only the Wave AP can be set as an AP. The Wave Nano cannot be set to anything other than a CPE/Station.

Thanks for the clarification. While we don't recommend using EA software in production, glad to know that PtP works!
