That mainstream subgenre is why phonk is so much hated, but it is really more than 100 cowbells per second when you get to know the genre better. Search up for Devilish Trio (as well as separate members of the trio Baker Ya Maker aka Baker X Phonk (for me Baker is the biggest man out there), Hydra and Tenngage), CVRSXD (Cursed), MC HOLOCAUST, APOC KRYSIS, Yung Dmize and you'll see what phonk really is.
