Being an addict in recovery myself, $B never appealed to me until I was in treatment and came out. I always thought they were glorifying our disease but that was when I wasn’t ready to hear the brutal truth. Fact of the matter is that all I hear now when I listen is group therapy, NA meetings and complete honesty, open mindedness and willingness to not only be honest with themselves but with us, the listener as well. I hold this song close to my heart, which still beats and has been reopened after 20+ years of being welded shut. $crimmy and Ruby, you’re in my thoughts and prayers, brothers. Unfortunately, there was a wild fire (alleged arson) this year April which took a lot of the crosses with it. Nonetheless, it's an interesting place to visit for sure. Had this project on repeat. And I gotta say this beat in particular has been stuck in my head. I love when they infuse the music with female vocals. And I think there's an aspect to their music that's once again apparent on this album, but overlooked. And that's the 90's influence on their sound. Beyond the obvious Memphis influence. They have always had a lot of sounds from that era in their music. Whether it's samples or horror movie clips spliced in.

I love to play this while smoking bad ass weed friday afternoon on the way to academy sports in dallas on parklane and northwest highway to get some shells and a super shirt . Cruising in my calypso green notchback 5.0 wearing 285s in the rear that were broke in right with the pro 5 oh shifter. Remember wearing a nice Tommy Hill figure cotton nit polo and guess jeans ,polo boots of course. Takes me back to that feeling from the mid 90's. Like we invincible. Oh yeah the weed is that lime green og skunk , real loud rolled to max capacity.,only normal zig zags and burn at least three in a row .When I smoke that loud loud og kush skunk and listen to this loud in the dark it takes me right back to those awesome times in the 90's and 80's and 2000's. Exact same feeling I felt smoking og and bad ass weeds back then. Back then in the late 90's it was super dooper Northern lights and Hobbits water. Shit like that . Also I would pull my blank out for my girlfriend after smoking and jam this while she jams on my meat 🍖

God this song just gives me a different feeling. Shit is on replay.
