A Kenyan President doesn't handover power to any person of his choice. It is not a favor he obliges. Kenyans vote for their President of choice. Anyhow,assuming he was supposed to handover to him,how would he do it with the animosity he unleashed against a man that campaigned for him thrice btn 2013 to 2017? Ruto is not mad,he must have been confused a bit that perhaps Uhuru would drop Raila at some stage but when it became clear that he is not about then the right thing to do is to be his own man and wrestle the seat out of the two guys. He initially thought he was contesting only Raila but now he knows there is even a third candidate that doesn't want to leave the seat peacefully.
