A leader am silently learning from as prepare to lead in FUTURE. He is a well meant leader.He has led during my days.

Great speech Mr. President and may God grant you the wisdom and power to take our country to a greater level.God knew this day will come so look upon him for guidance!

I like the speech except the laptops for class one part....unrealistic and unnecessary...how do u expect a starving kid to use a laptop?

Very true. In Kenya school buses are missing lug nuts. Classrooms have leaky roofs, kids sit on broken chairs while others sit on the floor. Toilets don't flush. Private school is a somewhat better option but even for 80,000ksh/ yr , you still have to provide a 10 pack of toilet paper quarterly. The Laptop idea is nice, but I personally think Kenya should focus more on the cake first before going too crazy on the icing. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the laptops.

why read from piece of papers and not teleprompter? The latter would have enabled him appear like he's looking at Kenyans in all corners of the stadium and TV sets!

Great speech Mr. President but how could you not take advantage of this momentous occasion and use it to address the biggest threat to our national unity and peace? A threat that is the main cause of the state of insecurity in our country? A threat that is fast transforming Kenya to the status of a failed state? Yes, I am talking about Kenya's culture of CORRUPTION and IMPUNITY!
