Appreciating Sri Murali as only he could provide justice to such a character...i didn't enjoy salaar half as much as I do ugramm..Lots of love for Prashant Neel for making such a masterpiece in 2014 itself..I didn't expect Salaar to exceed Ugramm, atleast I hoped it would be a good Ugramm copy with some changes..came home utterly disappointed 😞

This is the first kannada movie i have watched...i am a malayali...i really struggled to get subtitles at that time....after i finished watching the movie ,i was stunned. My respect for kannada movie rose ...I recommended this movie to many of my friends but no one cared....Years later prashant directed his next film KGF and now my same friends and even whole of Kerala will be in queue for his next movie😅

Me too same scenario .even I watched ugram before kgf and I was blown away by this movie ,the way it’s taken and ofcourse Sri Murali .

Atleast I have watched this movie more than 50 times. Best underworld story in Kannada. Now after kgf - I can see so much similarities in presentation of story. This is Prashant's signature style of story telling ❤️

​@@PuneethGowda.01saalar and ugraam are different only some scene in saalar are same as ugraam but in saalar it showed in different way actually it's an adaption...and saalar scale Is very much big and the story telling and detailing is very much bigger in saalar rather than ugraam and the action sequences ..I will say ugraam is also a good movie but saalar narration screenplay is far far better..

Original is pure and well connected to reality. What a Mass, Salaar might be big, ugramm is very close to heart. Agastya character is way better than deva character. This is cult classic movie.
