In India, we have such examples like the Ahmadiyya Movement split into two groups, (Lahori and main groups), Guru Nanak and his Son had differences, and Jinnah and Liaqat Ali Khan had similar theories. Jawaharlal Nehru and Subhas Chandra Bose had differing approaches to achieving independence from British rule. You are targeting him and collecting your pieces of evidence just like Modi's followers would do against Nehru calling him a traitor. Or a Shai or Sunni would do the same for Umar and Abu Bakar, or anyone else. Just because they love Ali more than Abu Bakar, or Bhakts love Modi more than Nehru. Such allegations are actually pretty common in scientific community. Also Dr Abdus Salam had been working on the gauge theory since 1961. This dude has merely presented allegations against Abdus Salam and termed them "facts".

Salam is a gaint of modern theoretical physics. His work on the Electroweak theory is one part of his career, and there is so much more. From Neutrino physics, QFT, GUTs to the Higgs and further work on the Standard model. His career is not just one line of inquiry that can be dismissed like this by a nobody, rather it spans over decades with contributions to some of the most challenging ideas of physics in his time. It has and will stand the test of time and people all over the world will continue to learn and benefit from it. There are no facts presented in the video. This is slander plain and simple, acheived by twisting events, and outright lying. The comments are a horror story too which show how far as a society have we fallen in our hate and bigotry. How uneducated and ignorant we have become that so many can't spot an obvious fraud and hatemonger when they see one. If you think that Salam could possibly hoodwink the entire physics community for years (including geniuses like Witten, Weinberg and more) only for a random youtuber with no background in physics or science to come along and see through all of it, I have a mansion on mars to sell to you.

That is the great attainment. 0 Kindly also see this verse: “Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance unto thee beneath the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down peace of reassurance on them, and hath rewarded them with a near victory” [48:18] Praise be to Allah. Al-Bukhari (3651) and Muslim (2533) narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The best of people are my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then there will come people whose testimony will come before their oath, and their oath before their testimony.” The earliest scholars captured the knowledge from the first 3 generations, it’s already done, there is no need to reinvent the wheel like few modern day scholars have been doing and opening up doors to divisiveness within families, friends and Muslim communities. This is what tells in the Quran who dismiss Sahaba 2:13 13. And when it is said to them, “Believe as the people have believed,” they say, “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” In fact, it is they who are the fools, but they do not know.

The research didn't include the fact that the reasoning of all these 3 scientists was different from each other so there was no room for plagiarism. Yes glashow got to it first and held resentment for not getting recognition like the other 2 did. But that is no grounds for plagiarism, only a means to deepen the hatred in the hearts of ready-to-judge people of our country.

QAR has carefully not denied Salam's contributions to research but has specifically questioned his contribution to electroweak theory which won Salam Noble. Is there any evidence of his contribution to the theory, any research published anywhere? If there isn't, then mere acknowledgement of the so-called majority is not a sound criterion for a Noble. QAR has quoted some facts, and you can truly criticize him by presenting facts against his narrative. Mere calling names and abuse won't win you the case. (I go one step further from his stance, winning the Noble isn't a big deal, a title given by a biased political body can't be the criterion of anything like Suu Kyi was given the Noble Peace Prize who is responsible for the Rohingya Genocide)

I was reading a dawn news article in which, ironically, Pervez Houdboy was emphasizing Pro salam stand and honoring him as the real Saviour of Science in Pakistan. I was literally astounded, is he really physicist or educationalist, which, he claims for himself and can't verify the facts. Just bogus reality. Shame for such person claiming himself the so called physicist and not knowing the reality instead promoting the false and forged uncertainty.

Just to add one mesmerising fact here. Before his electroweak theory, Salam had done an exceptional work on “parity violation” and he sent the same work to Pauli, who was then considered to be the best physicist of that time. Pauli didnt agree with his work and consequently Salam didnt publish his work. After few years some scientists from china did the same work and they went on to receive Nobel. Just because some one is Ahmadi does not mean we should belittle his achievements. Grow up Pakistanis and learn to respect your scientists irrespective of their faith.

I see. Let me show you the intellectual dishonesty being played. Anyone here understands what is electoweak force or have some basic understanding of particle physics and what is Gauge symmetry breaking renormalization? Does anyone know anything here about the work? I fear none. This guy presented opinion of Sheldon Glashow who had problems with both other guys: Salam and Weinberg. Fact is that at a point Glashow was unlikely to receive Noble prize. If Glashow had serious problems why didn't he rejected Nobel prize. Glashow proposed his idea in two papers Namely: The renormalizability of vector meson interactions 1961 Partial Symmetries of Weak Interactions 1961 Papers that Salam published: Weak and Electromagnetic Interactions 1964. See references. Salam cited Glashow's work and mentioned it. There is no overlap in the paper and is genuine work. No physicist ever said Salam plagiarized Glashow's work. Anyone with technical understanding of particle physics can see the difference. Renormalizable Gauge Theory of Weak Interactions 1967 Does anyone know without normalization it would lead to infinities. And there would be no proof for the model? Without this There would be just a hypothesis of conjecture or just an idea. Abdul Salam's work on symmetry breaking and renormalization is the real deal here. Both of these paper's are original works. if there was such a thing, physics community might have raised objections. Do you think this would go neglected? Paul dirac recommended Salam for Nobel Prize. Anyone knows about Paul Dirac? Do you think Paul Dirac hadn't see if Salam's work was original? Only two people in talked about Abdul Salam if he deserved nobel prize or not. Glashow had problems even with Weinberg and Abdul Salam. His problem was, He just laid the foundation of the theory while rest of the work was done by Weinberg and Salam. Ask any particle physicist.Norman dombey. Now Everyone knows politics is involved in Noble Prize to some extent. My point is simple. Even if Noble committee was so desperate to give Salam noble prize, why to award him for something which is controversial? He had worked in other fields. Committee could award him noble prize on some other work. There is no evidence that salam requested Noble committee to consider his work for Noble prize. This is non-sense. I did my Ph.D. (UK), postdoctoral research and my research career consists of over 37 years in Europe. I did doctor of habilitation in Germany. In my opinion, Dr. Salam is a noble Laurette, there is no question. He has presented a theory that leads to awards of noble price. My field of research is quite different from Dr. Salam's and I cannot share his opinion. Using Dr. Salam's name, I did not find any research paper in his name in PubMed. This is very common for Pakistani PhDs without any publication in international journals. Perhaps he did his PhD and research in the early seventies and his research paper is not available in PubMed but also not found in Google.

I am a sunni Muslim and a practising scientist and know what rubbish he is talking about just to gain likes. Abdul Salam was a genius and really deserved the Nobel Prize. Absolutely rubbish!

Unfortunately Nobel comitee didn't have brilliant scintist Qisar Raja at that time who can go through work done but Salam and tell Nobel comitee that this man is a fraud and do not desserve the prize. I am hundred percent sure that if there is any truth in that then the prize will be withdrawn without any hesitation. In fact i will aploud it. No lier desserve that kind of respect and recognition. But we love our killers and thievs more than anything so just keep doing that.

@@nowie4007 yes I agree. Molana maududi and other ulema specially jamat ul ahrar knew the character of ahmedis very well. British wanted an outpost here in India , quiad didn't understood the full picture I guess. So Qadiyanis who were British agents , stood behind Quiad apart from UP CP jamindar who were again British loyalist. So once Pakistan was formed and Muslim were devided , British already created seperation sentiment in Bangladesh via mujeeb and his comrades. Soon quiad died as British knew abt his disease. After that they removed liaqat and Qadiyanis suddenly became incharge of Pakistan silently . Pak foj generals were already British loyalist. So British with help of Qadiyanis Jamindars wadhera and Jarnails never allowed Islamic system to be implemented in pakistan . Bangladesh was created to dvide the Muslims more . Fir us Islam is far above Nationhood. Qadiyanis r Christian agent sent to destroy Islam from within . This Abdus Salam was also given Nobel by various tricks only to establish a narrative pro ahmedi and to spy or stop pakistan nuclear weapons.

This is the downfall thought process of our nation only one guy from our nation was capable of doing something in field of science and people of our nation unfortunately are saying he shouldn't be given the Nobel Prize what a shame. This is as same as betraying your motherland contributions.

Qaisar's entire thesis rests on the word of two Jews (Glashow and Dombey). Qaiser preferred the word of Jews who say Muhammad (SAW) was a liar over a Qadiyani who says Muhammad (SAW) is not the last prophet, without providing any concrete evidence. In the scientific world, plagiarism is seen as a major offense. If Salam's work were in fact plagiarized, the committee would have revoked the prize and retracted the publication. Glashow was irked because both Weinberg and Salam did not include him in the original name of the theory. Salam was the first one to prove the theory mathematically, but since Qaisar sahab said so, we should accept that the person who proved a theory mathematically plagiarized the work of someone who wasn't able to do so. Glashow's cornerstone Electroweak unification 1961 paper does not know, or care about the 1964 Higgs work. It is mostly on requiring neutral currents for consistency. Salam and Weinberg tack the Higgs mechanism onto it.
