Strip is better. Try staying a hotel that is in the middle of the strip, like Harrah's hotel. That way, you will be in the middle of all the casinos, hotels, restaurants and all the fun. Try to check into the hotel on Sunday night and check out from the hotel on Friday afternoon - Staying in the hotels on friday night and saturday night costs a lot more.
