UGG classic mini platform vs classic mini comparison | mod shots

Welcome to my channel!
Today I’m comparing the Ugg classic mini boot to the platform version. The platforms also come in the ultra minis which is what I thought I was buying when I ordered them.
See how they look and let me know what you think. These are a tad bit small for me so pay attention to the sizing recommendation in the video! The platforms are great for giving height without being on the balls of your feet all day. Still got to worry more about ankle rolls though 😅.

I had my heart set on the platforms, but after watching this I’m going with the regular classic! Also, the way you tapped on the toe box was oddly satisfying haha thank you for your help!

I love all your videos! Very helpful! I ended up getting the regular ultra minis because I think overtime they will be more sustainable. I think the platform will be a trend and will die out before the boot and unfortunately, if the trend dies it will die with it. I’m hoping to invest in a boot to have for years.

the platform has different material Leather upper/UGGplush wool-blend lining/ and the classic mini is Leather upper/genuine shearling sheepskin

I bought the platform when I kept seeing people online in them.... idk if it is because I have big feet or what but when I put them on I felt like Herman Munster.... they went righr back to macys lol
Ohh so thats what it was! I just tried on the platform minis today and they felt so stiff, unlike any other uggs I’ve had. This was my first time getting a kids size ugg so I thought maybe they make kids uggs more firm

The platform on the mini almost makes it look like its not mini haha! I do need the extra height 😂

The material in the platform is more firm so when I am walking in them I can feel the top of the boot hit my shin and calf. Hope that helps!
True to size or did you size down

True to size for the platform imo. And the flat boot go up to one size down. Hope that helps

@@jesh4149 thanks heaps. I’ll go to the store to try the platform one for size, sadly they don’t have the colour I’m after which sucks! I can’t find them in store in australia or online in the chestnut. :(
