You should be ashamed of yourselves for criminalizing polygamy in the west.. You celebrate the food eat and we shall the food we eat... LGBT is your food and polygamy is our food Get it?
I was expecting more information, such as a map of what countries in Africa criminalize homosexuality and to what extent. Love and peace to all people who don't harm or discriminate against others.

There's a map for it in Wikipedia (search for LGBT in Africa in Wikipedia). A lot of African countries criminalize, and even penalize with death, homosexuality.
They should contact Underground Railroad for LGBTQI in Canada 🇨🇦 they will get support especially for the transgender woman who wants to be in a safe space. ❤

@@ScottPomroy494 the other activist his happy being in Kenya doing his advocacy work but the other lady from Uganda did specify she wants to be in a safe country we’re she can live freely without being persecuted as trans woman. @brendonmartin9737 respecting people wishes isn't what you want. That's why every country has some minority protection. Because people are people and just like animals would genocide or even destroy groups of their population for whatever reason or even full out oppress groups they deem inferior. This is why many safe guards exist for minority group and that should extend to lgbtq folks. Every person deserve life, liberty, and the pursuit if happiness. But you can't take someone's life and liberty because it would make you happy. It is all about balance

@@brendonmartin9737 Sorry, I guess that I didn't really clarify my point. I agree with you, everyone should live in a safe place, not only those who qualify to be safe under some ridiculous and racist governments rule. There shouldn't be a need for an underground railroad in any part of the world for any reason. The only people who shouldn't have the right to live freely are hardend criminals and corrupt political leaders.
How does a person know another is homosexual as he rides by on a motorcycle? This sounds rather Smollet like.

They will likely set police honeytraps and keep records of people who are seen coming from known homosexual homes and meeting spots, just like it used to be done up to the 1960s in the West.

As someone who openly identifies as a queer gay person and also believes in the transformative value of reclaiming terms, I fully support DW's usage of the word "queer" as the umbrella term for the LGBTQ community. 🏳️🌈❤️

Ha😂 kenya is about to ban homosexuality too.
@TheTororist

its been banned in kenya since colonial times buddy. the govt just has a 'turn a blind eye' mentality. thats why gay people run from other african countries to kenya. its near impossible to hear the police arrested someone for being gay. but it is still de facto illegal.

That's interesting, Auntie Homosexual is my drag queen name. It's worth remembering that homosexuality was not legal in the whole US until 2003. And the fight for acceptance let alone equality is far from over. I remember when my preacher grandpa learned that a Unitarian couple moved in next door. You might have thought the world had ended.

In Africa that's not acceptable, we are still normal and in the natural settings. We pray for westerners to realize how akward such behaviors are. You are either a woman or a man , and that' s how God created you

Fair enough. I have no hatred for gay people, but Ugandans have a right to decide their own laws. The west seems to think that they can dictate to the world what is acceptable. A colonial attitude that should stop . people should be helped to leave if they are oppressed. If you force Ugandans to accept what they despise, then THEY would be the oppressed.

Yes Ugandans do have the right to decide their own laws, but that should mean ALL Ugandans have the right to decide on those laws regardless of being gay, or bisexual, or transgender. This has nothing to do with east or west or north or south. You talk about colonialism attitude like it is just a western thing. How many people have been colonized by Russia, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany..... and were oppressed throughout history?

The crazy part is before Europe came to Uganda, the Ugandan country is home to some of the most lgbtqp history in Africa. After Europe came that changed. That mind set is a European colonial mind set. The Europeans made Ugandans hate their own history.
