In the manga, all there was for Muichiro’s training was his sparring match with Tanjiro, plus him telling the other lackeys to train. The Mitsuri part at the end was also in the manga, but I wonder how ufotable is gonna extend her training. Other than those two parts, everything else was anime original. Also, the sparring between Muichiro, Sanemi, and Iguro wasn’t even in the manga yet it was still cut short. I agree that there should’ve been more shown in that match. And yeah, I would definitely want to see more of the Hashiras fighting each other, so we could see more of them training each other. With all the anime original content going into this season, ufotable could’ve pulled that off for sure. Then again, ufotable might save all the flashy stuff for the next arc.

The sparring wasn't in the manga it was again Ufotable adding anime original stuff. Just like previous episode this episode also had like 90% of original content. The manga really speedrun these trainings

I understand that this season may be “boring” compared to the previous ones, but believe me there will still be very good things until the eighth episode (which will definitely be the best) it really is a season of calm before the storm

I also believe that from the next one the pace will accelerate a little and yes there are only 9 chapters in the manga and only one painel with tanjiro fighting with casa hashira so ufotable is doing miracles here
