I saw UFO on this tour. They were a great band...especially live.
We still got Schenker, Mogg, Parker and Neil Carter--praise the lord_) RIP PAUL PAUL AND PETE
Saw them at the old Chicago stadium in '78 right after "Obsession" came out. My favorite band at the time....and the loudest band I ever heard! I could hardly hear at school the next day with my ears still ringing. lol.
I'm so very thankful I got to see UFO with original line up..I've see more shows than I can remember and UFO was my favorite one..
Looks like they were being sponsored by Washburn Guitars at that time. Great show! Loved and love UFO!
Moog and Schanker we're one of the best rock combos ever. Very underrated

great song and those Washburns are a sight to behold.
Damn - great version with awesome sound quality. I remember when the album came out. I was only 11. Loved them ever since. Thanks for sharing.
One of, if not, the best rock bands.
if you don't know UFO you don't know rock and roll entirely , every bit as equal to thin lizzy, blue oyster cult, and so many more

Saw them on Don Kirshner’s Rock back in the day. Wow! Phenomenon- a great album
Neil Carter killing it on the rhythm
I saw UFO on my18th birthday at the Agora Ballroom in Atlanta GA in 1980 with Paul Chapman playing lead guitar. Amazing!
Best band ever. Timeless songs. High school, my favorite band. Listening to it 40 years later and still rockin it❤❤
With UFO being one of the greatest bands of all time and with their musicians being influencers of hundreds of fellow musicians (before it was a thing), I find it odd that the people standing around are zombiefied and pretty much motionless. If I were seeing this band, at this juncture, I would be the inventor of “head banging”. 🤘🤘🤘
Tonka you will be missed such a handsome guitarist
I wish I had seen them back in the day. Rock at it's finest!
Great song great band
One of the greatest riffs ever! I like Chapman era tunes better than the earlier stuff. This particular line up is great. (I realize this is a Shenker song). WWI & Mechanix ROCK!
Such a great song even in 2024
ufo are to hot to handle. long live ufo. see them at the marquee in the strand in london back in the day.and from that day they are my fav band always. love to love you ufo.
Man, the freakin' camera "work" of that era really gets to me, take note how the camera pans away from Chapman just as he starts playing the first solo. I've seen this on way too many clips of bands from this era, like it was cool to somehow not show what we all want to see...smdh I guess I watch to much youtube and anyone else notice this? PS great version of a Classic!
I raced cars for years. Wish they would have played this over the PA every time I pulled onto the track LOL
Saw them open for AC/DC in 1979 Strangers In The Night Tour. I was right up front and Pete aimed and shot me with his bass. Back when he a wearing the stripped pants. RIP 🙏
My first concert; Cheap Trick/UFO!😏👍
Those ludwig chrome drums 😍
Neil Carter is the man ..can play any instruments ....wonder if he played solos
Pure class from the era....my ultimate fave band.......class
Would love to hear a live album from this lineup!

Hi 👋
Saw them a few times in that era. Used to have a Washburn guitar like they were playing wish I still had it. I've seen UFO about 6 or 7 times they always rocked the place.
Saw UFO 3 times at Sheffield city hall late 70s early 80s Absolute brilliant live band.
Lucky enuf to see them open for Rush on their "Light Out" tour. KILLER SHOW. Then saw them with unknown opening acts 3 times in Houston! Great Band!
this is definitely a kick ass rocker!
PURE ROCK N ROLL AND THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me tell youall seem them in 80s and I was soooo Amazed how seriously on point this band. Like spot on with their music . Love them and miss them. I was blessed to grow up Gen xxxxxxxxxxx 3:09
The Lonely Rocker digs this kind of music! very enjoyable!
Underrated classic
121 degrees in Palm Springs today. Had to hear this today. Awesome song/clip! Thanks for uploading it!
Great song.
I remember them coming to El Paso, Texas back in the late 70s, early 80s. Unfortunately I was too young to go see them.
Listened to this song to fire myself up before football games, my senior year in high school. Lol

Hi Nick 👋
Me too, and the wind cries Mary!! Mike fritz . peace.
Superb hard rockin' band who had a huge influence on what became heavy metal.
Love Chapman. He was great with Waysted, too. Solo on Land that’s Lost the Love is so cool.
Für mich eine der besten Hardrock Kapellen.
I covered this song every night for about 2 years, 1982

This is the period transitioning from Paul Raymond to Neil Carter and I believe the band signed a deal with Washburn as Tonka, Neil, and Pete Way are playing Washburn instruments. Still, my fav band ever. #UFO
Love this track…and the live version is much rockier than the album.

Extraordinario UFO!
Paul Chapman was in a lesser known band called Lonestar before he joined UFO. There isn't much of their stuff on KZread , but they were a great band (in my opinion ) that went under the radar.
