one of the most underrated bands and Phil is a great great soulful singer.

They're just "phoning it in" here. Schenker shredding on the Flying V always sorely missed.

Did you catch that amazing little jazz run the guitar player did? LOL. People tend to forget that us rockers can also play the other stuff. I seen Jimmy Page pull out the Jazz one time, and later I seen him one night playing Jazz Fusion that matched what Scott Henderson used to do. Just because our first and most dedicated love is ROCK, that doesn't mean we can't do the other stuff too. I LOVE THIS MUSIC!

One of my favourite song out of my favourite UFO album ever, the incredible No heavy petting... They all sound good here and Vinnie does his job, but he's not Michael Schenker unfortunately... There's a reason why the core of UFO 's legacy comes from Schenker's 70s era : Michael's wizardry in composition and lead guitar playing is unmatchable and unrepeatable.

Michael Schenker is a great guitarist the guy playing here isn’t close,Phil can’t hit some of those old notes that he used to !! But it’s a water downed version of this great band !! I have been a fan since around 77 once I heard Schenker I was an instant fan !! They were the second band of 3 they were freaking awesome I went out the next day and bought every single album that Michael Schenker had anything to do with !!

This sounds like a random UFO cover band. They were never the same again after their first breakup in 1983. Actually their peak were "Obsession" and "Strangers in the night". The Chapman era from 80 - 83 was also quite decent, though.

Have to agree that Phil sounds great and that Vinnie is not MS and doesn't sound like him at all. His solos are not even close to as good as the great Michael Shenker's (not in style, fluidity, melody or tone).

I know this is great guitar. But to me the solo Schenker did was perfect for the song. I loved those years and seeing that line up. Somehow all that stuff added doesn’t work out 4 me. It’s opinion. Someone will say I don’t know what im talking about. Which is ridiculous. Because it’s what I feel. No one else has to agree

Schenker's performance on SITN is probably the greatest performance on any album in history.. so it's not fare to compare really... when you think he was 22 when he did, it just beggars belief!!

It's similar, for obvious reasons, but the reason Michael is SO revered is his sense of melody and phrasing. Elegant and lyrical, it's not about the fast chops. He writes, he writes melodies into his solos, and he pretty much stays to them because they work so well...

I remember when all the techno first started becoming big. People would ask me who my favorite rock guitarist is and I'd say Jimmy Page. Sometimes, they'd come back and something stupid like, "Oh Pimmy Jage." But, Jimmy Page is still the best guitarist I've ever seen in my entire life. People forget! He played a specific way for the band Led Zeppelin, but, behind the scene he could do this stuff too.

Well, here's what I'll say. Vinnie, is well known and they needed someone well known as a guitar player in UFO. However, while vinnie is a great guitar player's he lacks the blues influence that Michael had. Both great' but just different styles.
