Gus is champion material. Always humble, doesn't whine like a sobby little bitch. He's the real fucking deal. I like Anthony Johnson also, the thing about this particular fight is that I wouldn't care who won, because I like them both equally. I also believe both could give Jones a hard time in a fight.

I really like gus, he's such a quality fighter but a lovely human being as well, oozes class! I also really like rumble Johnson, the guy has really found his calling at light heavyweight, he's looked a scary dude since his return! It will a very tough fight, but if the gus that beat Jon Jones in that epic title fight turns up, I fully expect him to win! He needs to be careful tho coz rumble has ridiculous power! Ps I know the record books say Jones beat Gustafson but for me and the vast magority that ain't the case!

I agree except admittedly I do like Gus a little more because Rumble was kind of a dick back in the day but it definitely seems like he's completely matured. Now he seems chill as hell. Gus on the other hand has always been a great guy

Yep. If Machida was a powerful puncher instead of a counter-puncher, Weidman would have lost to him already. Can you imagine what Belfort is going to do to him if the one who lifted Dan Henderson off the floor with a punch, destroyed a taller Luke Rockhold with a ninja spinning kick shows up on the octagon?

Johny Zimmerman I don't like Weidman's personality or much less most of his fanbase, he's a well rounded fighter and an elite wrestler with a good standup game, just because I don't like him doesn't mean I deny his talent, that would be ignorant.

It was very interesting to see Diaz bow down to Silva. I remember Diaz heavily criticising GSP in the lead up to their title fight about how this isn't a sport that necessitates it. Very interesting...

Well it can be hard to forget things that aren't really true and it's awesome, but not for the reasons you think. He won the LHW strap off of Randy due to an eye poke a few seconds into the fight and he was never "heavyweight championship of the world"; that's an outright lie. Mark Coleman was the UFC HW champ; Vitor was the tournament champ for UFC 12 only. Back in the early days the UFC would crown a tournament champion for every event.

Andarovin It was not an eye poke, it was a seam from Vitor's glove that caught Randy's eye, that was accepted at the time by Randy and everybody else who saw the fight. How was Mark Coleman any more HW champion of the world than Vitor by the way? Mark won the UFC 11 tournament and fought and beat Dan Severn for the HW title when neither fighter was HW champion of the world at the time.

Oh, that's tough. Let me count: 1.Because Mark Coleman had already won two UFC tournaments and was 6-0 in the UFC compared to 2-0 for Vitor. He had the best resume in the UFC for a HW, easily. 2.Because his championship match was also a unification of the "superfight" championship held by Severn. 3.Because it was literally called "THE UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP" whereas vitor's was "the UFC 12 heavyweight tournament champ" 4.Because, by your logic, everyone who had won a tournament championship to that point was also "champion", not just tourny champ. Does that make sense to have 10 champions? And you're missing the point regarding his LHW championship; it was won on a technicality. That's about like saying that Coleman beat shogun. Ya, the win shows up on fight finder...but so what? It's pretty hollow. But if he wants to claim it, feel free. At least it's semantically true, unlike the bogus ass claim as HW champion.

Doesn't mean they are intimidated, usually just means that either they are not into all the mean mug bull crap or they are super confident. Donald Cerrone grins in pretty much every stare down and nobody would consider him to be someone that gets intimidated.
