Despite the obvious differences such as rules and the use of the gi both have a fundamentally different philosophy when it comes to throws and takedowns. The philosophy of judo is “maximum efficiency with minimum energy” which means unlike wrestling you dont simply tackle or throw your weight in Judo. Judo throws are based on the use of leverage combined with perfect timing to make a throw both effortless for the thrower and a surprise for the receiver of the technique. To execute a throw in judo involves a combination of off balancing your opponent combined with fitting using body control and then finally the excuting the throw. Comparatively wrestling throws may also involve techniques such as a penetration step but do not require the oppononent to be off balanced. By comparison the hip toss in wrestling works with the principles of pivoting and loading but unlike in judo there is the use of force which generates the momentum needed to make the throw completely unlike in judo. In a sparring session when you are thrown by a judoka you will often be surprised by the fact that you didnt see the move coming or being set up whereas in wrestling you will feel the other person attempting to generate momentum indicating that you are about to be throw. Between the two I would say judo throws are much more complex and take much longer to be able to use efficiently but make far less use of energy making it effective for a smaller person to throw someone much larger. Wrestling throws are dependent on brute strength which means that many techniques will not work on an opponent who is much larger such as a fireman carry. Attempting this move on someone lighter will make this move very easy will a large person will be impossible. Sambo on the other hand is the combination of the most effective Judo throws, wrestling techniques and ground control and Jujitsu’s grappling and submissions. It was created in the Soviet Union era to train the Red Army to improve their hand-to-hand combat abilities. Sambo literally translates to 'self-defence without weapons' and It was intended to be a merger of the most effective techniques of other martial arts. I hope this helps 👍🏼

So, Let me try to clear this up. I think Islam was trying to tell that if you get choked out it might take a toll on your health, but at the end he made a playful remark 'maybe not', it seems like he means that he is a professional fighter, so different rules apply, but for an 'average' human it might be better to tap.
