Condit landed more total strikes, significant strikes, and landed at a higher percent as well. Diaz lost. Lol.

I had Diaz winning that fight. I had him winning 3 out of the 5 rounds. I thought he landed more shots, pushed Condit back and forced him to fight. IMO Nick Diaz is the most exciting fighter in MMA. Just not the same when he isn't around. Takes the fun out of the sport. Hope Diaz wins his case against the Commission, freaken crooks. They give Mayweather a license but put the screws to Diaz for traces of pot. Yep something just isn't right.

Watch the stats (and better the fight again) Nick didn't landed more strikes than Condit in any round. U can give him the 5th because of the takedown and finish in strong position. But that's it. Condit clearly won this fight. I get that u like Diaz and want to support him but stop being a blind sheep.

I think a lot of the backlash on Condit after this fight was because of what Condit was saying leading up to it. He said he was going to press forward and try to knock Diaz out, instead he ran backwards throwing leg kicks that even I could tolerate.

Carlos is Badass

Condit is a beast man and after watching his career since pre WEC days I can honestly say this fight was a one off and he's taking a hell of a lot of flak for it.....when it was a close fight ANYWAY. When this fight happened I was pissed at Condit just like everyone else but the blame for this performance lies squarely with Greg Jackson and coach wink imo. They did the same shit to Guida. Ideally they're supposed to gameplan around what their fighter is best at. Not make them fight in a way that does not suit their natural fighting style. Those bullshit pitter patter kicks and constantly backing away refusing to engage should NEVER win a fight. I think Condit realised his mistake tbf and hopefully Greg Jackson has too.
