UFC FIGHTER LEARNS CRAZY RUSSIAN SYSTEMA! Legit or Total BS???

UFC FIGHTER LEARNS CRAZY RUSSIAN SYSTEMA! Legit or Total BS???
Whats up fight fans, welcome back to a (kind of) new video!
This was shot 4 years ago when we were approached by Tibi Moravik from Systems of Motion to show us some insights into Systema, a form of russian martial arts that for years has had a terrible reputation for being totally useless!
He demos the fundamentals of punching with brad and some sneaky little moves you may be able to add into your own game!

What's up fight fans. I've had literally several messages asking for this video to be reuploaded, so here it is... the original had 150,000 views, so it went down well. If you know anyone or are someone that wants to come and film with us and go over your martial art then hit us up on Instagram 👍🏼

Guys please go and see one of the "top" instructors. Respect to this dude but go to the top, you'll learn more and have a better understanding of how they train etc.

If Tibor was showing the same stuff, and people weren't aware of Brad's credentials, i suspect the comments section would look very different. You see that in the comments section in Steven Strangles People and McDojo videos where they criticise systema without having the slightest exposure to the art or done any real research on it. (i don't want to give attention to these guys, because i find it reprehensible how they badmouth top exponents of systema like Ryabko and Vasiliev, which only highlights their ignorance). It's quite telling how people yield to authority (the influencer producing the video) and then at the same time congratulate each other about how they're being sharp and critical thinkers, and meanwhile the people practicing systema are gullible members of a cult. If those people had ever met Ryabko and got punched by him they would have forgotten their names and their address. It's easy to criticise a drill on the screen, is what i'm saying. Apply the socratic method if you're interested in the truth. And if you're curious enough, go and test it. But remember like in any other art there's good systema instructors, average and of course bad ones too. I'd recommend Martin Wheeler and his teacher, Vladimir Vasiliev (more accessible in the west) and Valentin Talanov and Arkady Kadochnikov.

To the haters, there's a reason the man who trained the Secret Service is a Systema guy (Martin Wheeler). The guy I trained with was a pupil of his and once told me Systema is not for fighting. If you take it into a ring with rules, you'll likely lose. It's a system for staying relaxed and surviving. If you have to use it in the streets, you have a huge example. Particularly if you're smaller than you're opponent.

I always had the mind set of every martial art has something you can use in a legit way. There might be a bunch of BS around it but there will always be something you can pick up

I Love the breakdown of this work. Well guys. Systema gets bad rap because is very broad with application outside of self defense or fighting system. I came across systema in 2004 and it became addiction for many years and by now it is my lifestyle. Many camps, seminars, I even got to meet Michael Ryabko RIP. I use parts of it everyday of my life. Can I defend myself?… I would say much better then prior to starting to train. Russians did well putting this thing together. Though many Russians when asked have no fuck’n idea about systema existence. Most of themself have never heard of it because systema is more popular outside of Russia then in Russia.

Alot of the guard breaking stuff that was being shown reminds me of some Wing Chun stuff that Kevin Lee (not the fighter, the KZreadr) shows.

I remember seeing this on Fight Perfect! Great breakdown and demonstration of actual uses, like many stranger looking martial arts there are hidden gems in the movements.

You guys might appreciate comment from Val Riaznoz; but I’m not sure if he’s still teaching or still in the UK. Martin Wheeler is also a very well respected systema practitioner from England, but he’s in Los Angeles now.

Systema saved my teeth in Dakar few years ago… but it can be helpful only for relax people. it’s a no tension martial art.
