Plinio said that even at striking skills Poatan is still evolving because he started training too late, when he was already 23 years old, so he didn’t have time to maximize the basics. Remember when Alex fought Adesanaya for the first time, it was his 12 fight in professional kickboxing carrer while Adesanaya had already 40+ fights and had never been knocked out until their fight. Poatan was born to fight, I can not imagine what If he got a little bit earlier at combat sports. Him and Jon Jones has the best genetics for combat sports (natural body and mind for fighting skills).

People who said they are 7 are great warriors Mike tyson once said that Gus D'Amato told him if he really wants to be invincible he needs to first understand that he'll be trying for his whole life, and in order to become a master he needs to first understand that he'll always be a student. This means a lot, it means you have to always improve, it means that if in your mind you think that you are at the top, then you're doing yourself a disfavor by eliminating any chance of learning.
