Either wednesday or fridays would be great days for Live chats. Wednesday cause it’s right in the middle of the week. Friday cause it’s before the weekend which usually is full of fights. And then the premiere on monday after the weekend. It’s just Friday Fight Night is a thing and some of those one championship fights are rlly fun to talk about so. up too you. yk we’ll show up😂

Everyone keeps saying Friday for the live chat but don’t realize that doesn’t give a context creator enough days for likes and views! Because after the fight is done nobody will go back and rewatch it! It’s hard to grow a page like that

I have to disagree with the Tom Aspinall bit. Pleasee look at his record Sunni; Tom is 13/3 - the 3 losses were heel hook (was winning up until that), downwards elbow (was dominating until that), knee injury after 15 seconds. So basically he has 1 loss early in his career bc he got caught with a submission. Other than that, Tom won 13 fights. 13/13 fights by finish. 12/13 fights finished in the first round. It took him ~15 minutes to finish 6 decend to good fighters in the UFC. Now Jon: When is the last time that JJ had a strong performance, other than Cyril Gane? Jon is a legend, but he got slower and older the last 4-5 years. Especially at LHW the fights were super close and his "superior wrestling and grappling skills" did not show any effect on guys like Dominick Reyes or Thiago Santos which are both kickboxers. Tom trains bjj since he's a kid, is extremely athletic and has good footwork. I really don't understand how you can say "cmon guys, it's Jon jones, we know he can't beat him" when Jon only had one fight at heavyweight against a guy who started grappling at 25. It would not look like this against Aspinall

It's ironic that wonder boy refused his fight due to missed weight and we have tony Ferguson on the same card. The reason why I bring it up is because fighters have to be more strategic. That's why I tip my hat to wonder boy, for doing what he did. I always hated tony stepping up to face Justin when he should have waited for his title shot. Granted if he would have won it would have shot up his name even more. But look at what happened, he hasn't been the same since that fight. Hey its the fight game "ah so it go" but fighters please benefit from your risks. The promotion does not give a fid-duck about yall.

@@proscasuals that's true. What is your fighters perspective on strategy outside the cage? That's one of the things I loved about old Conor. When he started he seemed to have a plan to me. His overall demeanor was get in get money and get out. I feel a lot of fighters just fight to fight, with no idea how they would want their career to go. That's also why I rate Francis so much. Fighters with no plans lead them to make decisions like taking fights on short notice, or risking title shots for "pride" (fight anytime, anywhere) or to be a gamer on behalf of Dana. If they take those risks and win all the more power to you but like wonder boy said - I wouldn't want to be that reckless with my body. I'd want to get the most advantages/reward for the risks as possible. As De la said - the stakes is high.

Ooooo just got too the islam Justin talk I really feel like islam is 80% percent of khabib and don’t get me wrong that’s still really good but I really feel like Justin could win that fight especially with Justin take down defensive khabib knew how good it was even saying he would take the kick so he could take him down I feel like a patient Justin could hurt islam especially with volk hurting islam with the straight left early in the fight

@@proscasuals - right?? That’s a bad ass match up. I know Volk is a stud but he’s way too cocky in my opinion. And all of these cocky boys get humbled eventually in mma. Frankly, if he’s going to keep talking shit about how he was once a welterweight - then he should STFU and fight a lightweight who can put his lights out. I think he’d get smashed in a rematch w/ Islam … that is if he doesn’t get put to sleep by someone like Justin G at lightweight… Volk was a 200 lb rugby prop (front row in rugby is like a defensive tackle with sprinter speed in football) - and frankly he should be a great 145 pound mma fighter bc he had a ridiculously unfair advantage from his rugby experience - rolling around w/ 220 lb plus killer dudes w/ speed. But beating up featherweights -> doesn’t make him a P4P king. His ass should move up to lightweight at least and if he wins the lightweight strap - he can talk about how “great” he is…
