as a musician you understand Jones a little better. imagine you just started making music and you blow up and get looked at as the greatest. you take time off during your prime but that doesnt mean you left your prime. Jon is that artist who took time off to perfect his sound. and as you saw he perfected it to the first round finish.

I could see Gane having an edge in movement/striking- I think back to the Reyes fight and reason that if Reyes was able to hit Jones, so can Gane. Have a feeling that Jones is going be slow in comparison to Gane, but I'm pretty certain that it's only a matter of time until Jones gets ahold of him and causes Hell on the ground

@@SchooledSavage692 thats the thing tho, Jones overthinks and studies his opponents exploits their weaknesses. Someone like Reyes who's decent striker and average take down was more of a threat because there wasn't any particular weakness that Jones could exploit. But with Gane, he was a wolf that found the cubs. On paper, this shouldve been a very close fight but the paper doesn't show fighter's IQ which is Jone's greatest strength. Everyone is playing checkers while he's playing chess. The best of all time (but not the greatest because of his tainted record and history)

On the confident side, I know Jones has high level skills and many tools in his box to use in several situations. On the concerned side, Jon has not fought in 3 years and he is almost 50 pounds heavier and It's doubtful that he will have the spark he's always had as a light heavy weight. I won't be surprised at all if Gane pulls off the victory. My expectations are for Jones, but I'm prepared to see Gane win.

@@jarellgaddy8587 comparing Jones to GSP is like comparing apples to oranges. GSP is a long life martial artist and professional inside and outside the ring. Jones has admitted to hard partying just days before a fight. Jones lifestyle in general (drinking- partying-hard drugs) makes the fact he's been out 3 years more significant. If Jones had the same lifestyle as GSP it wouldn't be a big deal. I also think Jones gets it done, but he's long lay off isn't being analyzed enough.

I got jones in the 2nd he will smother Gane once he gets a feel for him in the 1st. Also Gane is a top contender but the pressure on his shoulders coming in to this will definitely make an impact, I know Bones will also have some nerves but his fight iq will kick in quickly.
